I placed my order on Order Placed: February 23, 2008 at 12:45:00 AM PST. The post Office showed the item delivered on March 3rd. I called the 1-877 tel# on the website. I was told by Ree that all reshipments were done by United States Postal Service and they would take care of it. I called the post office on March 17th they confirmed that the package was delivered and let me know because the package WASN’T insured they were not responsible. I called Amazing Lace once more and spoke to Ree, I let her know what the post office said and she told me she was going to reship the items. When I checked back they changed their story.

After some back and forth; they would not credit my card for the lost items and did not want to send a replacement. This was their response: “The Postal Service does not make these delivery times and dates up for they are a pretty legitimate business! In the four years we have been shipping to our customers online, all over the world, thousands of packages they have provided us with an abundance of accurate deliveries!” -so you mean to tell me that the post office is always right and that I’m out my money. C’mon lady they lost my package, and you didn’t insure it. If this company would’ve insured my package they could have filed a claim with the post office for reimbursement.

The Bottom line is - the overall customer service of this company when something goes wrong, is rancid at best. My Package was lost package, and the company couldn’t give me my money back, or replace the order all together. According to them it was my fault that the package was lost. The Owner CHIRISSY, isn’t professional, and didn't handle the situation with any business sense or customer service. If your product is ever lost, you are screwed.

I kept entering their monthly contests and giveaways and somehow managed to win a contest along with 4 other people. So I get an email from Amazing Lace saying congrats your one of our chosen winners, please send us your name, address, shoe size and 2 shoes you would like us to choose from. I received this email on the 7th of April. I replied back an hour later with my details. It's now been 2 weeks and I still haven't received anything in the mail. I ordered actual clothes on the April 13th and received them the 15th. So either there just messing with people by telling them they've won something or they just didn't send them.

Bait and switch. Spent $40 on what appeared to be a high quality cardigan and got a cheap cardigan that was made from some elastic material.. Not even the same color or length. Customer service is a joke.

I wish we had researched this company prior to purchase. The iems my daughter received were of very poor quality.
Their website return information was very vague. We tried to find a phone #~none to be found to contact them. Next, we made numerous attempts for clarification via sent emails. Finally a week + later we received a response for clarification. We paid the return shipping + insurance fees of $20. Tonight we received an email that our return had been received, but we missed their 30 day return timeline (the wording of return policy during holiday season was misleading: it said until Jan 15th, but also still within 30 days of purchase. The email stated our only options to pay the shipping to have the poor quality items sent back to us or they will donate the items in 10 days. I encourage you to please ORDER YOUR ITEMS ELSEWHERE.

Stay far away from THIS company! Clothing is ultra cheap knock offs, cheap fake plastic leather shoes/boots are even worse, waaay over priced junk. Once this company has your money you are no longer worth their time. I called the company in the morning to check on a refund, was told associate not in to work yet. Called in the afternoon and the exact same employee was the one who looked up information. No refund even though defective item returned promptly. Very dishonest unethical company.

I ordered boots off of this site after waiting a couple weeks for them to come back in stock. After a week, when they were supposed to arrive, I got an email saying they are no longer sending them. They sent me multiple promotional codes after this to make up for it and I used one to buy a different pair of boots. Once I got the boots, they were too small although I ordered the right size. I tried to return them and I found out that because I used the promotional code that they sent me, I was not allowed to. Not only could I not return them, I couldn't even exchange them, or get store credit! So after I had payed around $65 dollars for these boots, I was stuck with boots I and none of my friends or friends could wear. I hope this store goes out of buisness soon.

This company is not in the business for customer service. I had bought a pair of boots online and paid to have the boots shipped to me at my expense ($5.00). When I received the boots, they were defective. I went to the web site and clicked on the link for returns. The form stated that it must be filled out completely and signed before they would issue a refund. I paid $7.36 to have the boots shipped back to the company for a refund. They refunded me my purchase amount less 10% for a "restocking" fee. These shoes should have never left their place and sent to me in the first place. Because I didn't call and report the defective item, they are allowed to keep the 10%. Most shoe companies online have free shipping and free return shipping. Do not be scammed by this company, they are looking at any way they can to keep your money. Go to a legit site and get real help and non defective merchandise. My only consolation is that a place that does business like this will not be in business long.

I'm hunting down a return they haven't received. As it was boots were sent to me in an odd, small box- not a shoe box. To return I had to use original packing materials, get email permission and an RMA#. They charge a restocking fee (usually reserved for electronics?). I had a bad feeling ever since I received these boots rolled up in this box. I sincerely doubt I'll ever see a refund!
