I reported to our insurance carrier, Allstate, hail damage to home, patio, decking, rooftop, rooftop decking and furniture. The first person to come to our home was Tracy Hatton, he denied the claim. I then contacted Tanyia Healy, it took her 2 weeks to return my call. She only called me back after I contacted her boss Mr. Jerry Sason. I contacted my rep Steve Froehle who was asked to be present on 2 different occasions to see damage and give input . He never showed up nor returned phone calls. Instead his receptionist ran interference for him. Steve Froehle, is our agent and we pay him over $400 a month for auto insurance, over $600 a year for a motorcylce insurance and our yearly home policy. You think he would be more professional and return phone calls to a customer that has as much business as we do with him. He is supposed to be here for us and represent us. They state: "Your in good hands with Allstate", I beg to differ. I called Tanyia after her first visit to our home and after our claim was denied. (She stated after reviewing Tracys photos that we had no hail damage to our property and there would be no monies disbursed for this claim. Interesting because both vehicles in the driveway had major damage and our property had obvious damage as well). I asked her to reevaluate her decision and this time I would be present to assist her and her associates to point out the obvious signs of hail damage through out the property. They paid out $5700.00 for 2 trucks that sustained damage to the hoods fenders and roofs. How would one think that it wasn't possible to have significant damage to the property and the contents if 2 trucks were peppered with hail damage at our residence. After all this was a major catastrophe that happened in Phoenix, Scottsdale and out to Glendale. I called Mr Sason to ask for a re-evaluation of the property, he sent out a individual by the name of Keith Olson. Both Keith and Tonyia showed up on the reevaluation appt and we walked around the property and went up on the roof and I pointed out all the damage to them (i.e. 300+ roof tiles broken and/or damaged by the hail storm, broken/damaged patio decking expansion strips/rooftop decking and furniture. Both Keith and Tonyia saw the damages and were in agreeance with the damages. Then they still denied the claim for our home and the contents around the property by a phone call 2 days later. No letter for reasons or explanations a phone call by Mr. Olson and a very shakey one at that.. I was in disbelief. Since then we have taken over 430 photos for court and have gotten estimates to repair all of the damages. We are pursuing one final attempt to file a formal appeal with Allstate per our lawyers counsel, if this does not work we will be filing a lawsuit against Allstate to re-coup our damages sustained from this hail storm. Here is the kicker not only am I a General Contractor and have been working as a GC for the last 20 years, I have also fixed many homes from this storm and it has been a majority of our work for the last year. It is insulting to me that Allstate thinks they can just walk away from their obligation. I have paid my premiums to be covered for protection against this sort of causality to our home. One final note, I have tried to get new insurance quotes from a number of other insurance company's, but once they find out that I had a claim for the hail damage to our house they ask, "Was all of the damage fixed.?" Of course the answer is no. So it is not possible to obtain insurance from another company due to the fact that we still have damage to our property and roof. The other insurance company's do not want to insure us until it is corrected and they also will require a site inspection before insurance will be binding. This is a safe guard for all insurance companies so they are not paying out on pre existing conditions and to make sure that for those who received funds for damages obtained from this storm that the homes and properties have been fixed.. It is very clear to me what I need to do. It is also very clear to me that WE ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS WITH ALLSTATE nor is anyone else that binds coverage with them. same experience here...jimbo
do not do business here. they/he will not be there for you as a client as you pay him to represent you, and his company will not be there for your claim. no, definitely not in good hands with this agent, with his company. they cost me $thousands for not covering a claim that was legitimate and covered in the policy. all other homes in my immediate area covered for the same/similar claim, but no, not this agent, not Allstate. get smart, go elsewhere. do your homework.

my sincere recommendation is that you not use this agent, nor this insurance company. i can speak from personal experience. in 2011 we had a hail storm, several homes in my neighborhood suffered roof damage, and i can personally tell you all were covered by their insurance for NEW roofs. Allstate turned me down saying my damage was not from the hail storm. i appealed the first adjuster's decision, and so 2 more followed with the same decision. i appealed again, and Allstate retained their usual engineering firm to make an analysis of my roof and they too determined the damage was not due to the storm. Well folks, who paid the cost of the engineering study, and who will continue to get business from
Allstate? go figure, it is not me. and what they spent on 3 adjusters coming out and the cost of the engineering report would have paid for a new roof, to which i was entitled-same storm from which my neighbors collected. and lastly, this agent made minimal effort to back his client, he was a company guy, doing what a company does, back the company. do not go here.
