Almost Family — cpr training course
I enrolled and paid for a CPR course through my employer, Almost Family.
I paid Almost Family $40.00 to renew my BLS. I was put into a class with HHAs
I am an LPN. This class was in November 2017. I never received an ecard or
certificate. Almost Family administration and HR plus the instructor are, should be and were well aware that this is not appropriate.
On Tuesday, 7-16-2019, I attempted to check online for an ecard.
The last one expired 10/17.
I could not access any other information online. I then called the training center. Cuyahoga Community College # OH1894 phone # 216-905-5231. They had the instructor, Joni Nowak call me. I was informed by her that I had a heartsaver card and that she would send me my BLS card via my email. Of course, I never received this.
I spoke with the local AHA office and they advised me to file a complaint. I also filed a complaint with LHC, Almost Family parent company.
As of this date, I have a Heartsaver card, which is for persons with no medical training. I cannot access this as I cannot get past the security question.
It is my understanding Almost Family's HR department is accepting them for the people and answering the evaluations. Possibly the reason AHA site won't accept my security question answer.
I cannot renew my BLS as it is way to late and there is no grace period.
I request a refund of my money an would like then to pay for a BLS class at a reputable training site.
