Alert Plumbing and Drain review: Cleaning of drain

On July 5 a technician from Alert Plumbing and Drain came to my home to clear the drain in my garage. After less than five minutes, the service person stated he was finished and showed me a small amount of dust and small particles that he said came from the drain. A couple of weeks later when I did my first large number of laundry loads (5 or 6) water began to back into the garage and into my laundry room.

When I called Alert to ask to have a service man return to my home to be sure the drain had been completely cleared, they told me they would only come if I agreed to pay an additional service charge of $109.00. I spoke with the sales manager as well as the technician. Without them coming to my home, I was told I now had a different problem, that I probably had hair in the drain and that they were not Roto-Rooter.

My attempts to speak with the person that I believed to be owner were unsuccessful.

I believe the demand for a second payment for them to check the job was to be done is unreasonable.
