I had booked my order for Proton X-70 through Defence Motors, Lahore with Al-Haj Automotive. PKR 900,000 was duly paid for booking the vehicle.
However the company breached and was not able to deliver the car within stipulated time which was August 2022. In November, I formally submitted my cancellation request.
I was informed my payment would be refunded within 3 months. As per article released in PAKWHEELS https://www.pakwheels.com/blog/proton-pakistan-starts-refunding-booking-payments/, it was stated that all cancellations in November would be processed in May/June. I called their customer service and was informed I would receive call for check in first week of June.
On follow up, there is complete silence from the dealer and the company.

Desired outcome: I am requesting from them return of my funds with addition of 16% charges under law due to excessively delayed payment I.e. PKR 1,020,000. The matter be resolved within next week I.e. by 22 June 2023
The same situation is being faced by us. They even issued a cheque and gave one month's time but it was bounced due to non availability of funds. We again made hue and cry and the gave us another one month but it was again rejected due to call confirmation problem.
What we have understood that they are cheating and just want to take indefinite times. The staff in Lahore is cooperative but they are helpless. Their management is in Karachi but they're not responding. Only one lady Anam called back and took the cheque number. Our case is entering in 3rd year and there's no light even at the end of the tunnel.
