I was cheated by this Maid Agency.
The maid reached my house on 19/1/23 and get to rest straight away. Official start working on 20/1/23 but wake up very late. Keeps complaining that she is scared and sleeps with light on, always makes mistakes, always stand or sit in the kitchen without working, not responding to employer requests/instructions, always ignored my children, and requests to change employer few times. On the 1/3/23, she requests to change employer again and I called the Agency.
After the discussion, we can’t reach to a mutual agreement and the maid keeps make up own stories. Agent brought back the maid for further discussion and investigation. After a week, no updates from Agent then I called the Agent but was told the stories that make up by the maid and started threatening us. We ask for a replacement and done interview. But due to some issues that we can’t resolve, we decided to make police report on the maid. After the Agency aware of the police report was made, they change their mind again and said if we do not follow their suggestions then they will not proceed with the new maid and will only refund RM12,625.47.
Another issue is their charges is very high compared to others. They requested us to make payments to different accounts when we applied for the first maid. We asked the reason and was told that it is due to accounting issues.
I feel being cheated and hope you can help to get back all our hard-earned money or get another replacement maid.
We will lose RM 4624.53 if the Agency refund only RM 12,625.47, or loss RM 17,250 if they change their mind again because we ask for replacement or full refund, but they do not reply to us.
Desired outcome: Full refund or Replacement
They give replacement as promised, so please cancel the complaint. It is not appropriate to ask for payment to remove this complaint.
