Aegis Construction Group Inc. in Elmhurst review: Roofing, gutters, downspout, siding 11

2019 we signed a contract for this scope of work, total roof teardown and replace. Later found out we should've received a consumer rights pamphlet, which we didn't. Asked for their insurance and Aegis never gave it to us. Subcontractors worked here not knowing their experience or insurance either. After installation of everything, notice water dripping to foundation from gutters and corners of gable. Aegis installed damaged broken material back on gable. Soffits installed on garage were not vented. Aegis didn't install correct ducted vent for microbe hood. They did not address and install proper ventilation for roof, not even in take. Installation of flashing was improperly installed. Used staples that popped up not holding gutter apron down at eaves, when nails or screws were to be used. Flashing wasn't wide enough to keep water from running behind gutters and down fascia and onto our brick home, flooding the cement directly below. Bubbles and water spots on ceiling. GABLE not installed properly. Bowing, installed too tight not mitered, 2 pieces that join of j channel were not cut long enough gap allows water to drip and icicles to form. Downspout is not connected to gutter
Left downspout open at bottom where it goes into the ground. Roof shingles show its fibers and edges are jagged. Many shingles lift, not even sealing down at eaves. Other contractors said no starter strip. Not enough flashing and caulking around chimney. Other contractors stated we need to tear off and install new roof due to attic inspection of nails black and evidence of water on the rafter water leak. Aegis did a complete teardown on roof. Daylight is evident in attic. Garage roof sagging. Gutter corners not with material to keep it from dripping through seams. Water runs behind fascia also. Lots of pop-ups. Sent pictures, text, emails and phone calls they refuse to come back and repair or replace anything. Even sent other contractors estimates detailed of their work. WHEN Aegis did reply, they were not respectful to us. Told us to stop calling, that we are harassing them and they will sue us also for posting reviews and pictures of our house. Help please, We are terrified of what the end result could cause of their negligence or poor installation and unwilling to cooperate with us. This has been our worst nitemare
