They charged me $1.00 for a 14 day trial period. This was to get access to my debit credit card number. I received the product on day 15 so I had no time to evaluate the product. They charged
my account $169.95 for the AcaiOpimum on day 14. Which they call a membership fee. They also charged my account $79.98 for the CupcaVital ( Membership Fee) which has a 30 day trial period, when I requested a refund they claimed that this product also has a 14 day trial period. this product was just received yesterday 3/18/10 after the 14 day trial. also no time to evaluate! What a joke this is! Don't get trapped by this qroup of crooks!

This company has a real problem. They need to be put out of business.

I too got hoodwinked by the free trial ad on the internet. I was to try it 'risk free' for the shipping and handling charge of 1.97. When I got to the confirmation page, I was surprised to find that my credit card would be charged 101.15 and I would receive a rebate of 99.96. The company charged my credit card because when I tried to cancel the order, there was no way to do that on the website. I tried the back arrow and found the website was down due to scam reports. My bank issued a new card number, but that only stopped them from accessing my account a second time. The pills, a two month supply, arrived on July 31st, with NO rebate form. I had been told to expect a one month's supply and a rebate form. This business is for the birds. I'm newly retired and got scammed BIG TIME. Avoid this company. It will cost you plenty if you succumb to the temptation.

I'm sorry to hear that it took so long for you to receive your trial order. Customer service should have extended the trial period for you. Please call back customer service and ask to speak with a supervisor or send an email including a link to this page to support@acaioptimum.com and I'm sure they will get this sorted out for you.

I got caught by this underhanded tactic as well this isn't how people should run a business it is just plan robbery, if any of you have had success fighting the $79 charge I would love to hear how, their customer service is crap and just leads you around in circles never answering a question. I am going to open a small claims lawsuit against this company if it is not resolved, a Terms of Service agreement can be voided if it violates and state or federal laws.
