I signed up for a trial for 50 cents. After going through a few pages of upsells, I clicked a big green button by mistake that said, "skip trial and subscribe today." I clicked that by mistake and nearly instantly realized my error. There was a little tiny link underneath that said, "no thanks. Just give me my trial," which was what I actually wanted. Within 3 minutes I requested a refund. The company sent me long emails explaining their whole policy. Ok, but I made a mistake in what I clicked. There is no way I intended to go from 50 cents to $129. Oh, and they kept my money on Christmas Eve. That's when all this happened.
Desired outcome: Refund for $129
I have been receiving up to 10 calls a day for close to a year from people thinking my company is connected to these scammers. My company is Fitness 4 Home Superstore and our website is fitness4home.com. They use 4homefitness in their credit card statement descriptor and have a forwarding website of the same name.
People think we are them. WE ARE NOT. We have nothing to do with them. They are a scam and purposely deceiving people. They are not even located in the US. Their primary website is muscle-booster.iu
I have tried contacting the FTC, the AG, and the BBB; you name it. No one will help get these scammers stopped. If anyone has a suggestion on how to shut these scammers down, please contact me at bob@myfitness4home.com
I have too been billed for months - totally feel cheated by this disgusting company because I'm unable to find a way to cancel! Their 1:2:1 online chat is a complete hoax! Please can anyone add here if they have been able to cancel and how they did this?
I too signed up for trial and received a 6.99 bill and a 19.99 bill and Amex was unable to cancel.
I also got ripped off by them 2 monthly charges and no way of cancelling as there was no email correspondence. I reported them to my bank.
My card was processed 3 x so check your statements looking for payfitness, billzsecure and content24bill
I was triple processed by three companies so check your statements. payfitness, billzsecure and content24bill are processing payments for app
This company is one big scam. I clicked on this in error while in another app. I did not receive email or confirmation of the purchase or follow up information on access to the website. I received a notice from PayPal about the purchase which I had mistakenly assumed it was for another valid purchase I had made. It was not until the next month that I was charged again for a subscription. When I called for a refund, they refused siting a purchase agreement which was never displayed or emailed. Apparently, they are boosting "sales" through fraud>
