24 Hours Electric review: Electrical

I contacted Angi for an outdoor porch light and switch that needed replacement. I received a call from Mohammed from 24 Hour Electric. He came to give me an estimate. He also gave me an estimate for changing a motor in my upstairs bathroom vent fan and adding a 100 AMP ground wire to my electrical panel. We agreed on a price and he said he would be back the next day to complete the work. I asked him to send or bring me a written proposal. He came the next day and I asked him for the written estimate. He said he didn't go to his office yet. He would email the proposal to me. I also asked to see his electricians' license. He looked at his phone and gave me this number LIC#009745. He also showed me his business card 24 HOURS ELECTRIS-934-241-3429-98 Harriet Rd.- 244hourselectric@gmail.com. I paid him with a check made out to cash. He said he would send a proposal and receipt of payment by email the following day. The work was done on Friday, June 26, 2026. After numerous texts back and forth and one promise after the other I have still not received a receipt . It has been 6 days. I thought Angi's list recommended qualified people and checked their back rounds. I guess I was wrong. I am guessing that Mohammed is not a licensed electrician. I hope you remove his name from your list. As for me I will never use Angi's List again.
