I recieved a female Persian cat in a trade deal from Renee Livingston. At the time of the trade I stated The cat I recieved would be pure Persian(not CPC) and it would be PKD neg. I found out it was a CPC and Renee lied and said she didn't know. Now I have found out that it is PKD positive. Either the copies of the DNA test that I received were falsified or the cat was not out of the sire and dam stated on her papers. I just wanted to warn others about my dealings with Renee Livingston of #1 Cattitude cattery.

We got a cat from this breeder as well. We had him for a few months and he started to bleed uncontrollably out of every orfice. It was overnight and terrifying. He had a metabolic disorder and would have required a $5k blood transfusion to even attempt to save his life. It was heartbreaking for our family and all of our kids. We contacted her and she agreed to bring us a new male who was actually older than the one we lost. (Agreement states that you get another kitten after death) but we were so upset about everything that we didn't even argue. Well this cat we got wouldn't come out from hiding. We had him for nearly a month and due to his extremely fright of ceiling fans - he never left our basement. It was rather frustrating cleaning a litter box and never seeing a cat. So after contacting Renee again she agreed to trade this cat (whom she actually wanted to keep for breeding anyhow) for a kitten. Sadly she still charged us 700$ for him. So we paid 1000$ for the first, 2000$ in vet bills, probably close to 200$ in gas money and now another 700$ for the new guy. And that's not all! We noticed that the kitten kept snapping his head around and sticking out his tongue like something was stuck or hurting him. After him not eating and drinking very little we had to take him to the vet as well. Another 300$ and come to find out he had a virus in his mouth which caused an ulcer on his tongue and he was in so much pain he couldn't eat. It's taken 2 days of constant care and watch (hand feeding, covering with blanket, putting into the litter box) and he is finally starting to walk around again. This has truly been a nightmare account. I want to choose neutral but with two sick cats, one that died and still having to pay for the new kitten overall the whole ordeal was terrible. She seems nice and we do appreciate her working with us. But be warned.

I received a kitten from this woman 2 years ago. She lied various times in my dealing with her, contradicted herself, nothing added up. My kitten was extremely ill when she dropped him off to me. It took a good year to get him to good health. He has herpes, feline leukemia (contracted from mom) and urinary tract disease. Know that when you receive a kitten from this woman, you are saving a life. That's how I see it.

Renee, I have purchased one of your Persians from Abba Pets in St. Joseph, MO. She and her litter are desperately ill! They couldn't even go to the bathroom because their stools were plastered in a ball in their anus! They all are suffering from upper respiratory infections...& ABBA PETS is doing nothing to help your once beautiful kittens...they are going to die!

Well, Find out for sure if the paperwork was falsified and then you would have something as evidence to take to court. Are the catteries cats all tested for PKD? There are normally three swab tests now and are very accurate. Redeemer and Lucky are positive that I know of.
