Aspen Dental Finance service

Location; 4131 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville , KY 42240 pH# [protected] OPT 2.

On 01/17/2024 I spoke with Mrs. Taylor McLaughlin Finance manager at the office. She informed me that the schedule extraction with Dr Crist can not proceed until i pay up front $1700.00 . I empty my savings account and gave her cash money of the full amount. I ask for a receipt and never received one. I had the dental procedure done that evening . My dental insurance with Humanna informed me by phone that they sent the clinic two checks $135. and $270. for 3 extractions done by Dr. Crist up to 2/5/2024. I told this to Humanna representative on 02/16/2024 that afternoon. The representative stated possibly looks suspicious and i need to get in contact with Aspen corporate authorities ASAP.

Claimed loss: $1700.00 cash

Desired outcome: Refund cash

Aspen Dental incompetence in scheduling

I have never seen a office that is so messed up as this one, I called and made an appointment for a filling that fell out just a simple surface filling, I was given an appointment for 3 weeks later, when I got there they had me down for an emergency visit and was going to take exrays to find where the abcess was, I told them I did not have an abcess only needed a surface filling replaced and they told me I would have to come back April the first for filling, this is the most incompetent thing I have ever heard, by then the tooth will probably be bad and need extracted, never did see the dentist. I love Dr, Graham but the office people are so incompetent. If this tooth rots in the next 7 weeks I will be talking to an lawyer. Crazy!

Aspen Dental Overall dental services and payments paid

Currently my wife, Son Violette, and I have two concerns from our visit on 11 Jan 24 for the extraction of a cracked tooth (#20) and insertion of an implant due to a cracked tooth and infection.

1. We both feel the decision about how or when the tooth was cracked is incorrect and not plausible. The current dentist (Jordan Myrtle) stated that the tooth could have been cracked anytime, even when the root canal was completed in 2022. We both feel that this is not a logical type of response. Based on the number of visits we made in December 2023 and Jan 2024, it is obvious to us that her pain started the same time that a standby dentist, that was filling for De Myrtle, removed the previous crown on tooth #19. He had trouble removing the crown and had to use extra force to remove that crown and based on Son’s experience, in an excessive amount of force. We feel that when he removed that crown, if put a large amount of pressure on tooth #20 which caused that tooth to crack. And with all the visits Son had complaining about the pain, they were all after that procedure. There is no other plausible explanation based on all the x-rays that were reviewed up to that point. We even asked the Endodontist (This when Dr Myrtle finally referred us to on 10 Jan) about how long that crack was there, and she responded that she could not be exact, but it could have happened during removal of the crown. She stated the answer to that question could be yes or no. She also stated that the crack was obvious on the x-rays she took on the 10th of Jan. Of course, we know that she was not going to throw any other dentist under the bus by making a positive statement. I am wondering how Dr Myrtle could have missed it in Dec/Jan when she reviewed the x-rays she had ordered/taken that she now states she can see the crack.

2. Since Son was the patient, she was adamant that she should have been informed about the cost of the implant when asked if she wanted to proceed. She states she would have declined the implant and just agreed to the removal of tooth #20. When I was asked about the bill, I asked if Son was informed and what did she decide, Dr Myrtle stated that she agreed to the implant.

3. At that time, we felt that Riverview office of Aspen Dental should at least provide credit for our copay based on the above complaints. If we cannot reach an agreeable decision, Son stated that she wanted to have the implant base removed and all charges for that procedure withdrawn or stopped with the insurance company. This was required in case Son desired to obtain an implant in the future the insurance will be able to cover it for tooth #20. If this is the course chosen, Son states she will not return to your office for any future dental needs. Since that time, we were informed by Dr Myrtle that she would not provide any more services to Son.

4. The total out-of-pocket cost is $1841.00 that we feel we should not have to pay.

5. We have contacted another Dentist in the area for their service and at this point this is what has occurred: a. Toothe #19 implant removed, and the dentist stated to us that the implant was very loose and infected. b. Toothe #20 the implant was given more support because it was loose. c. Plans on removing the crown for tooth #18 and install a bridge implant for 18, 19 & 20.

6. Her records need to be revied because her treatment started for tooth #19 required a bridge using teeth 18 and 20 for support back in June 2022. Dr Myrtle later stated that she reviewed x-rays and saw the crack back in Aug of 23 and it was there. However, Son has been seeing dentist in that office (4 different) since 2022 and no one, including Dr Myrtle saw a crack at any time until we complained about tooth #20 being cracked as informed by the Endodontics.

So, to recap, we stated this in Jun 22 for a bridge which kept falling out and which led to her starting the implant process over a year ago. Son still doesn't have her teeth fixed and now we have to start with a different dentist and pay more money to receive the same care/treatment that the Aspen Dental office in Riverview, Florida was supposed to provide.

We no feel that we should be compensated for more than the $1,841stated above due to her pain and suffering that occurred after the crown for tooth #19 was pulled and cause the crack to tooth #20. The pain started when the crown on #19 was removed in December 2023 up to when tooth #20 was pulled and provided infection medicine. The main reason is that Dr Myrtle did not belive that Son was in pain at all even there were numerous visits due to the this pain and did lead to heated words being said which did convince Dr Myrtle to referrer her to an Endodontics.

I have contacted your customer service office at [protected] and [protected] where I am getting a run around. I have asked several times and asked to contact an Area/district/regional manager that was over this office and the only response I received was they sent a notice to that office to contact me. I do know the first time my complaint it went straight to the office in Riverview, and they dismissed the complaint, obviously, since it was filled against that office. I have asked to talk to a supervisor in the customer service office and was told that there were none available all 4 times I called them. They would not provide me a number for the area manager or anyone higher in the Coporate structure for me to discuss this with. We are very frustrated at this time and really need to physically talk with someone about this situation.

Please confirm this was received. Also, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Aspen Dental Bait-n-switch scam!! Terrible service & no follow up! Invisalign/motto??

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! And I'm not EVEN going to get into my wife's experience with Aspen!

We saved up to buy the Invisalign's for us both. I wish I could attach my call log here. But NO communication or follow up at all from Aspen Office. I had to make 16 Calls out to the Delaware location myself to follow thru on the stages & process. 2 Missed calls from Aspen, which I called back that same day on both. Only 2 incoming calls from Aspen thru this whole experience. I even had to stop by into the store front twice get someone to reply to me. Which I got "We'll follow up. Doctors with a patience!"

Several attempts to follow up on my next sets of retainers. Go into the store & they couldn't find them for 10 mins.? Another time they had to call & see where they were. Just so much turnover & new people in that store Lost! NO follow up or follow thru with me. I'm always reaching out to Aspen to find out what's going on with my next step of the procedure.

NOW the WORST PART of the Experience!

They did my Final Scan for the permanent retainers. Waited to hear from. Nothing? Made calls. "Let me check into that & get back with you. The doctor is with a patience!" Nothing? More calls to follow up. "Oh, they lost the scan & we need to redo your final scan. Can you come back in again?" Seriously! Back in for another scan. Which once I got there, something was said about it was still in the system, which I saw on the screen & just was never sent/approved over?!? Final Retainers sent out a second time. Again waited & waited. NO calls. I'm calling Aspen again to follow up on my stuff with you. Again "Let me get back with you..."

Note that there was several months between these stages of the process! Finally got a call they were in. Went to store to pick up. They handed me my final retainers to try on. Felt OK but seemed little bigger in size. I just figured it was the Final Retainers & for durability. They handed me the box it came in & out they sent me! See ya! To only get home to look closer & see they have done a bait & switch on me. I PAID for Invisalign's & they sent me out the door with your name brand box & retainers MOTTO? We PAID for Invisibles NOT Mottos Retainers!

Was also told we were to get 4 final sets of retainers thru Invisalign. Wife ONLY got 1. ONE final set of retainers. Not even a back-up set? I did get 4 pairs... BUT of the MOTTOS!

Something needs to be done here!

REFUNDED our MONEY! My Wife ONLY got 1 FINAL pair of Retainers? We PAID for the four final pairs! No back up pairs for possible lost, damaged or worn-down set to replace her ONLY pair. Again, we PAID for Invisalign's & you Bait-N-Switched me to your MOTTO's cause of no follow up or follow thru on getting these to me. Not counting all the time, I wasted on the 16 calls & stopping in twice at store front to get answers!

Claimed loss: Something needs to be done here! We both PAID $3000 each for 4 Final Sets each of Invisalign's retainers!! NOT Motto's. Wife ONLY got 1 Set?? We PAID for Invisibles NOT Mottos Retainers!!!

Desired outcome: REFUNDED our MONEY!!!! We PAID for Invisalign's & not your Bait-N-Switched MOTTO's.

Aspen Dental Horrible service over charge and get claims denied on purpose so you have to pay fortiva

I just moved here from Las Vegas Nevada, I have cigna Dental ppo Insurance and made a appointment for a Saturday at the Duluth office for November 11, 2023 and driven there 1hour early do to not knowing the state. Reminder made the appointment over 1 month ago. Me and my 15 year old niece. We get to the office and the let me know that they don't do regular appointments on Saturday. No one called me and verified the appointment and notified us that they cancelled our appt. I rescheduled for the Conyers office, which by the way I live in Jonesboro. So all the appointments are a distance away.

We get to the Conyers office and again told to sit in the office and wait, for at least 15minutes while Timora Edmund and another employee just laugh and talk. I finally went back to the desk and ask when are we going to see the dentist and was told again that they doctor is gone for the day and I have to reschedule my appointment again. So now this is the 3rd time making another appointment 1 month away on December 16, 2023.

For my niece she has 6 cavities and was denied service due to the insurance could not get verified. For me they took me to Breanna Hugley and she convinced me to open a credit card with Fortiva to pay for my services. They approved me for $3000.00 and tried to get me to get a bracket advised Breanna to take that off I don't need that I have no cavities and need a filling on the side for reseeding gums due to my age 52 years old. They set it up for me to pay Fortiva $1,145.00 I keep up with my teeth and I know scaling does not cost that much. I called my claims dept because I received a denail letter from my insurance and they stated that Aspen Dental in Mcdonough have not sent over the Periodontal charting and my extras to show missing teeth. My insurance called and spoke with Edwina and Breanna and they promised they fax it over on December 22,023.

Our new appointment was today January 20.2023. We arrive on time 8:00am. Andrea Mccord, office manager very rude, kept passing me up after I signed in so I know something was wrong. I politely went back to the desk and asked her why she have not checked us in and she stated Our appointment was cancelled because they don't do cavities and fillings on Saturday only Surgeries.

1ST you made the appointment for me in your office over 1month away from today. You have 1 whole month to verbally call me and reschedule mu appt.. You had enough time to call me and reschedule our appointment. I can not eat on the right side and lost 15 pounds due to not being able to eat. Andrea horribly told me she could have charged me more and asked me to leave the office due to me be highly upset about traveling 26miles away gas time and being in pain for over a month and Breanna made the appointment.

I also found out the have 60days to get the necessary paperwork over to my insurance so the may fulfill the claim. I called my insurance on January 17,2024 and they put me on hold and spoke with Breanna and had her email they the paperwork, so they can open back my claim and pay out.

why Breanna, Edwina, or the Entitled Office Manager Andrea Mccord tell me the cancelled my appointment? No one should ever use Aspen Dental, for services Never. I tried 3times at 3 different locations. they over charged me also and have not fixed the problem.*

Desired outcome: Get the paperwork over to Cigna so I can pay the right amount and Fire Adrea Mccord and Breanna Hughley, because they dont give good customer service and both areto comfortable and they don't value there position and employment there.

Aspen Dental Excessive, inadequate and expensive dental work.

I was a patient at Aspen Dental in Battle Creek, Mi from March 2018 to October 2019. During this time I was told I had peridontal disease and needed to start treatment right away. I had a cracked tooth pulled on April 16, 2018. On May 2, 2018 I had bridge preparation on the two teeth next to the tooth that was pulled. These two teeth would become the" anchor" teeth for the permanent bridge. These anchor teeth were also decayed. On May 21,2018, the permanent bridge was placed over the decayed anchor teeth. I was told later that this is not standard practice with the MDA for a cracked tooth. That the placement of the permanent bridge over decayed teeth wasn't common dental practice.

I started having problems with occasional pain with the anchor teeth the summer of 2023.By fall 2023 the pain was not getting better, so on November 27,2023, I called Aspen Dental to make an appointment. The office said they have no records of me being a patient there. They could schedule me for an appointment in May of 2024.I talked with the general manager at Aspen, he also stated my records were lost. He did provide me with a listing of past appointments and a financial statement.

I knew I couldn't wait until then for some relief from the pain and swelling I was now experiencing.I called around the Battle Creek region and found a dentist that would see me. On November 28, 2023, my new dentist examined me and with xrays he could see that the anchor teeth were infected and decayed. Because of the sub standard work performed at Aspen I will need extensive work done to fix my teeth. So my new dentist had to cut off the bridge that Aspen Dental placed over the two anchor teeth that were infected and decayed. One of the anchor teeth needed to be pulled since it was no longer viable. So I am now missing 2 teeth. The remaining anchor tooth was still alive, so the dentist removed the decayed portion of the tooth and built the tooth back up with resin. I am now getting prepared for an implant of the tooth that my current dentist had to pull. I was also told I did not have peridontal disease. So I had this treatment when it was not necessary.

That dental work proved to be excessive , unnecessary, expensive and sub standard dental care. To help pay for my current dental expenses I am asking for refunds on the dental work from May of 2018 that Aspen Dental performed.I paid $3,040.00 and my Delta Dental insurance paid $1,500.00 for tooth extraction and bridge placement from May 2018. If needed, I will contact the MDA,BBB Blue Care Network, Delta Dental and the local board of Dental Examiners to resolve the issue.

Claimed loss: Financially I lost $3,040.00. I also lost 1 day of work when the tooth was pulled in April 16, 2018.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund $3,040.00 from the work done in May 2018 starting with the tooth extraction and bridge placement.I would also like my records from Aspen Dental.

Aspen Dental Full upper denture

I have been a patient of Aspen Dental since February 2023, when I first visited their office in regard to getting a full upper denture. Since receiving my first upper denture, from Aspen Dental, which cracked on 9/5/2023, Aspen Dental has made two replacement dentures. All three dentures have cracked in the same exact place. Second denture cracked on 10/26/2023 & the third denture cracked on 12/26/2023 (only lasting approx a week). As of the writing of this email, I have not heard anything from Aspen Dental regarding the denture that cracked on 12/26/2023. The 3 failing dentures & long response times from the time that I contact Aspen Dental (both, becoming a pattern), are not in any way shape or form acceptable. I'm not sure if it is the individual scanning the digital image of my mouth or the technician making the actual denture from the scan that is the problem. Either way, the dentures are not being made to correctly fit my mouth & is not acceptable. My Patient/Aspen Dental relationship is not a good fit for me & is extremely stressful. I am in Sales & see customers face to face, daily & am constantly in fear of the denture breaking in half in front of the customer or anyone for that matter. This would be horrific. This is not what I would call good solutions for faulty dentures or timely responses to my emails. I cannot upload a photo to this email as I don't have a personal computer or wifi at my home but with an email response to me, I can upload a photo of all 3 of them from my photos on my phone.

Claimed loss: I've lost approximately $1250.00 & after 3 failed dentures, have not heard back from Aspen Dental since the 3rd denture cracked on 12/26/2023 & I called & emailed them. No response as of today 1/17/2024.

Desired outcome: I want a full refund. Aspen Dental doesn't seem to be able to make a denture for me that fits properly or withstands me eating/wearing. I want to take my business elsewhere & have them stand behind their money back guarantee.

I also had new set of dentures made in spring/summer of 2023 and less than 10 months later the front upper tooth snapped. I had a very old pair that I had from over 10 years ago to put in that day to get me by for couple of days until the broken pair was temporarily mended. The day that I went in to tell them about the broken tooth, they were so kind to tell me that they wanted to make me a full new set of dentures because they now use a better material. I was very suspicious of this but really what else could I do. I also had financed this set of dentures and they said for 7 years, they fix them if needed. I went in on 2/16/24 for the new set after several visits and I knew I would have to wear a few days to see if they needed adjusted which is common. I was never told that I was supposed to leave the broken set at their office when the new set came in. The office workers never said anything to me and they watched me pack up the broken set to take home. Today (2/20/24) when I did walk in visit for adjustment, I was told that I was not supposed to have the old set and that expectation was that I was to leave them there. I told them that I was not told this and I planned to take them home (even though broken and with temp mend) in case this happened again. I cannot work as social worker for hospice with no teeth! The office manager came in and admitted to this being their mistake but also said that I did not pay for two sets so I would not be taking the old set home. I felt as if I was being accused of trying to take advantage of them by taking back my broken set that I had for the last ten months. I felt myself getting upset and getting nowhere so I told this manager that I did not want to argue and that it really didn't matter and she can have my broken teeth. I told her that I would be making a bad review on this office. She then asked me what made me think that I should get that broken set. I again told her that I was not going to argue with her and for her to take the teeth. It ended up in me crying; new dentures haven't been in 4 hours and hurt so much I have to take them out; and the dentist on site encouraged me to go to another Aspen dental because of how uncomfortable I am at this office now. I took that broken set in on my own accord because I thought it would help them see how the new pair differed from the old so they could make adjustments more easily. I wasn't stealing them and I wasn't hiding them. I was purely innocent and left in tears because of their disrespect to me. That was 9am this morning and it is almost 3pm right now and I can't get over it still. Absolutely poor and pitiful service from the Kingman, AZ office.

You are not the only one going through this! I had a new set of dentures made (Upper and lowers) by Aspen Dental in Aug. 2023, and the top fits great, but the top denture you can see atr places around the back moulder that the resin is very thin around the teeth, but it hasn't broken~Yet! Keyword~Yet! However the bottom plate has broken 3 times in over 4 months, they said they don't understand and that this hasn't happened with other patients, and that for as little as I am I must have a strong jaw and must chew evenly and not hard! The brand new bottom denture broke 6 weeks after I had it, totally in half, they repaired it supposedly, but stated that now that it has broke in half, that it will continue to do so! I stated that is unnacceptable, and that they need to remake the bottom denture! They supposedly did what they call a quote: "RE-Make", where they send off the pIate to supposedly have the teeth taken out and then they send the same teeth back to be remade by using the first technique when dentures are actually made of a Heat Resin Fusion method. I just picked them up after waiting 2 weeks and they seemed thicker, but guess what? They broke at the same exact fracture place as as before, not totally broke in half yet, but if I keep using them, they will break in half! Tried calling the office and corporate office to talk to them, omly to get a message stating that all circuit's are busy now, please try your call again later! I used my friends phone to call the numbers and they rang, however the local office goes to a prompt to leave a message and they will call you back, and the corporate number just rings, then the it hangs up on you! Tried using my home phone again, I can call everybody else, I believe Aspen has blocked my number on file for me, cause I get that stupid message that all circuits are busy now, please try your call later, but that doesn't happen when I use an anonymous phone to call them! So you and I are not alone, and they appear to be a bunch of LIARS! Sincerely, Josey in Ocala, Florida today's date is 2/12/2024

Aspen Dental My dentures and how I was treated

On or about dec 8th 23 I went in and had impressions made. The tech there got the jell all over my face in my hair and on my clothes then she proceeded to go out in the hall and tell the other ladies what she did to me and said I could go home and take a shower they all were laughing. Then I had a appointment on the 3rd to come back they changed it to the 10th then they changed it to 19th then the 24th I ask why they said my dentures weren’t ready yet.i feel this has to do with the tech or some related issue they have with me..I was told by dentist they would be ready in a week because they were doing laser and doing it in office…

Desired outcome: Apologized to and my dentures

Aspen Dental Aspen Dental

I had an appointment at Aspen Dental because I had pain in my mouth. The doctor knew his medical knowledge very well. (So, I can't complain about his knowledge of the medicine). But in the appointment, he said some things to me which I personally didn't like which suggested to me that he was someone whose background is/was Anti-Semitic. I object to that. I am a United States citizen. (by birth and by education). So, according to the law, he is not allowed to choose that way of treating me.

Claimed loss: (defamation)

Desired outcome: (none)

Aspen Dental Dentist

A couple of months back I was having some issues with a tooth and also bumps on my gums. The dentist was in a hurry to leave the room and was of no help when I was asking questions. The biggest issue is when he was pulling one of my teeth he hit the one next to it with one of his tools which I know know cracked the tooth. Didn’t say anything knowing I’d be getting other dental work done. He suggested I get a root canal on the tooth he damaged as soon as possible so what does that tell you he knew. Went to the office he referred me to had root canal and now I am walking around half a tooth and exposed filing. And a tooth that needs to be pulled anyway.

Claimed loss: Will be a total loss of a tooth which was supposed to be able to be capped and partials done

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for root canal and extraction off half of tooth

Aspen Dental Aspen Dental Slidell, Louisiana

I’m a former patient at Aspen Dental Slidell, Louisiana. When I began treatment, I explained that I have other serious medical conditions and that I live in Bay Saint Louis, MS. I have had to cancel two appointments due to traffic back up while the Pearl River Bridge only had one lane open from a bad traffic accident. I called to inform Aspen Dental that I was stuck in traffic and couldn’t predict how long. Traffic was backed up 2 hours, I later learned. Also, because of my medical conditions, I had to cancel two appointments. I, however visited Aspen Dental Slidell, a total of 6 visits, and have had one tooth extracted, half of my mouth cleaned and a temporary crown placed where I had a root canal performed by an Endodonist at another location because the dentist at Aspen could not perform this procedure. After placing my temporary crown, I paid for half of the procedure which cost $1800. I was given an appointment at 7:30 a.m. to complete my crown and bridge, but due to Fog, there was traffic congestion because of little visibility. Traffic was again backed up by 2 hours. When I called to reschedule, no one responded so I called a second time to reschedule and was informed that I couldn’t return. I asked for my refund which is $1025.00 on December 7,2023. I have not received this refund and everyone I spoke to has been very rude!

Desired outcome: Refund of $1025.00 and my dental work completed!

Aspen Dental Billing for dental

In October 2022, I had my first appointment with Aspen Dental. During this visit, all of my information was gathered, including my insurance. When I returned for my next visit in April 2023, the business was "closed" because they "lost access to all patient information." Fast forward to June when my appointment was rescheduled. The office again gathered my information, including my insurance information. I called in November to schedule my cleaning. When I called, the woman on the phone told me I owed $161 "from when the system was down." I didn't question this and just paid my bill. When I went in for my appointment, I was told that I owed $380 for the day because there was no insurance on file. When I asked about the $161 balance from June, I was told that this claim did not get sent to insurance because "it was my fault that I didn't ask about insurance coverage and paid cash." I explained that my insurance has not changed, and this information was provided to the office more than once. They refused to reimburse me and expected me to stay for an appointment. No thanks. Don't need my personal information compromised or Aspen Dental to be dishonest about insurance. Very very disappointed. I will be switching dental providers.

Claimed loss: $161

Desired outcome: That Aspen Dental do the right thing and reimburse me for their mistake.

Aspen Dental Upper and lower dentures

I saw a dentist at Aspen Dental on 10/6/23 for a full set of dentures. Impressions were made and I was to return in 1 week. The appointment was cancelled because dentist was sick and rescheduled for 2 weeks. That appointment was cancelled because a dentist was not available and I was rescheduled again for 2 weeks. I finally got the dentures after Thanksgiving, but there was a significant gap on the left bottom molars. I could not get scheduled until after Christmas and I finally saw a dentist who noted they had to be corrected. I was scheduled to return on 1/2/24 for another impression. I just received a call from this office and rescheduled for 2/1/24 because dentis was not available.

I am a head/neck cancer patient treated with radiation and have worn dentures now for 20 years. My gums recede and make my dentures ill-fitting after a few years. Aspen Dental is highly advertised so I thought I would use them when my last set needed to be replaced. BIG MISTAKE!

Claimed loss: I was charged $2383.50 for dentures I cannot wear.

Desired outcome: To keep scheduled appointments, answer the phone and quit hanging up, and to be able to wear my dentures.

Aspen Dental Bad service

I have braces and am going through the process of getting an implant. I am at the point of getting a temporary crown put on my implant. I had the implant uncovered and got a healing cap on at a periodontist office and then called Aspen in Fort Gratiot Michigan to set up to have the temporary crown done. I have been with this office for about 14 years and am extremely happy with my hygienist and have rarely needed to see a dentist.

Dr. Scott was asked about putting the temporary crown on. At first he said he could not do that at all. I then called my orthodontist and had him explain what was needed. I had the appointment for getting impressions made on December 13th. I got there and Dr. Scott spent about 20 min finding the right sized trays, then another 20 min to take the healing cap off my implant. He then says "oh no, we can't do impressions because you still have your braces wire on." No one had told me I had to have it off and the fact that it took him 40 min to notice was ridiculous.

I asked him if I could go to the orthodontist (which is only 5min down the road) and come back. He said, no because he had appointments all day and I would have to come back some other time. This was very frustrating, because I live an hour away from the office.

I made the appointment to come back on December 22nd. The wire was off. Dr. Scott took the healing cap off and then tried for over 30 min to get the abutment piece on in order to take impressions. He could not get it to engage into the implant. He was very upset and angerly stated to his assistant that he was not going to deal with this and to bag everything up. I would have to go to the periodontist to have it done. He did not say anything to me and just stormed out of the room. I was really confused and asked the assistant if he was going to contact the periodontist right away because I knew the healing cap needed to go back on at least. The assistant went and asked him and he said I would have to contact them and it didn't matter if the healing cap went back on right away.

I contacted the periodontist and was told (of course) everyone was gone for the holidays. The first appointment I could get would be January 2nd. They told me by that time all of the gum tissue would have regrown over the implant again and I will need to have it all cut away again before they put the healing cap back on. I then have to heal for two weeks before I can get impressions done.

This is incredibly upsetting because I do not do well with needles and the numbing medications do not work well on me. I also have an extremely small mouth and any dental procedure leads to sever jaw pain.

I contacted Aspen to make sure I could pick up the healing cap from them. The assistant went to get it and told me it was actually in pieces. Dr. Scott had broken it when taking it out and didn't even tell me. So, now I have to have a new one made and it wasn't easy the first time.

I decided to contact a new dentist to finish the rest of this process. Aspen will be losing the money and a loyal customer.

Dr. Scott should never have taken on doing this procedure if he wasn't confident he could do it. He is beyond rude and unprofessional.

I am not sure what can be done, but he should at least receive some sort of reprimand. I feel I should also receive some sort of compensation for my time, aggravation and suffering.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter. I look forward to your response.

Desired outcome: I am not sure what can be done, but he should at least receive some sort of reprimand. I feel I should also receive some sort of compensation for my time, aggravation and suffering.

Aspen Dental Paid for permanent partial and only received the temporary

Went to Aspen dental in 2020. Paid for a temporary and permanent partial. I received a notification that my permanent was in after a few months. I went in to get my permanent and they stated that they failed to notate that I was to receive the permanent even though the records showed the amount paid was for the same amount that it costs for the permanent including what I already had done at the time. They even agreed that amount paid was how much it would cost. However, they said since it wasn't on the records to receive the permanent (although paid for) and they had the permanent in that was ordered that they would not let me get it. My father paid for it 100% that day has since passed away and he had to be the one to contest the issue. This is so wrong on so many levels.

Claimed loss: Between $600 to $800

Aspen Dental dentures too big

I went to Aspen to have a tooth fixed. They talked me into having all bottom teeth pulled and have dentures. The dentures never fit. They said the swelling of teeth pulled would go down and dentures would fit better. Never happened. Aspen charged me $10,000.00 for dentures that I have never worn. I called and called and it went to voice mail. They did bone graph transplants on one side of my mouth that was not necessary. Now that side is higher than the other side. The dentures had 14 teeth. I have never had that many teeth ever. The bottom line is Aspen Dental in Hiram, Georgia, took my money and never produced the correct dentures to me. I work with the public and for the last year i haven't had bottom teeth. Nothing. I want my money back so I can get bottom teeth fixed.
