Aspen Dental - I believe they are practicing medicare fraud.

I’ve been to Aspen dental four times. Every claim was filed in a timely manner with the exception of the last appointment on June 14 where two teeth were filled. They overcharged me and haven’t filed the claim yet, gave me the wrong claim number and they are telling me it will be 60 to 90 days before I get my money back. Every claim was completed filed quickly except this one.

I called my insurance company Continental Life/carrington benefit solutions. Gave them the claim number after four hours of going back and forth on the phone yesterday. She said it wasn’t her fault and don’t expect my money soon. They owe me over three hundred dollars! They’ve taken over a thousand dollars from my account, overcharged and have an amount I don’t even know what it’s for. You can’t get a person so you leave a message and wait. I called a different branch and told them the situation so they called the office and got the runaround. They are thieves!

Desired outcome: I want my money they owe me and should be reported for Medicare fraud or just plain stealing from individuals

Aspen Dental - Service

Went to aspen dental in statesboro to have a cap re glued that's all I needed and all I asked for they insisted on doing a lot of x-rays and said it would be free I told them I did not want to run up
A bill they said it was free because I was a new patient
After x-rays they said I had 4 cavities that needed to be fixed
Or they were going to get really badd then they said I needed to have my teeth cleaned deep cleaned I said I did not want or need that service many timesto the lady then the dentiste came over and said if I did not have my teeth deep cleaned she would not fix my cavities they charged me over $800 for the cleaning and it took 30 minutes dentiste said my teeth would fall out if I did not get this service

That's the same scare tactic they said to me. That's to get you to comply with their upsell. If they don't make a certain amount of sale's, they get fired. I have to get braces after their deep cleaning because my teeth shifted so much after. A procedure I didn't need turned into probably over 15,000 in Dental work to correct their unlawful negligent practices. You could call the whistle blower, get in touch with the Dental board, contact your state's attorney general as well.
