In February 2022 I was contacted Lane And Associates of 1200 Broad St Suite 300 Durham NC 27705 to schedule an appointment for a a filling on my tooth number 19. I was told that it was a small filling and to go ahead and getting the filling. I proceeded to schedule appointment the same week. I was introduce to Dr. Hannah not sure if that was he first name or last. She proceeded to work on the filling on tooth number 19. Once done she stated that I may experience a little discomfort but should go away in a week. Two weeks went by and I was still having pain on that tooth. I made appointment to go back to the office after still having pain. Once gotten to the back I was seen by Dr. Lane, I told him which doctor did the filling and, and I mention her Hannah's name the hygienist make a smirking noise, he stated that Hannah went to deep for the filling which cause infection and I needed a root canal. He then put me on antibiotics to take I waited and waited for the pain to subsided, waited a month still painful to the point I could not eat on that side. I woke up in the morning my face was swollen tremendously. I expressed that I dont have money for root canal. two weeks later I went back with a swollen face. My antibiotic's were switched to stronger meds.I expressed again I don't have money for root canal, which then I was given a referral to a non participating Endodontics. I was told by hygienist Hannah no longer is employed there. Needless to say today I still have not received the root canal because I do not have the funds to do so. My tooth is still infected and continuously have to take antibiotics I should not have to pay for something the dentist caused.
