I have made several attempts to reach attorney Kim Slaven who has been overseeing my case at this law office. I have left numerous voice messages, emails and messages with the front office personnel. I have been awaiting a response on the current status of my settlement check that was to be reissued to me as indicated in prior communication after it had been determined I did not receive the settlement check. Kim Slaven notified me that the matter will be investigated further, and she would speak with the counsel to have a payment reissued to my home address. It has now been several months since our last communication. This case and communication with Kim have been ongoing for the past three years. Last June, attorney Kim Slaven advised the case had been settled and at that time I provided her with my home address where the check was to be sent to. I have been patient while awaiting her response and I now feel as though my case has been left neglected. It is truly unfortunate that there has been such a lack of follow up and urgent response to this matter. In addition to writing to the better business board for much needed assistance I also sent a secure email to Kim Slaven with no response and a certified letter under certificate #[protected] to Zebersky Payne Shaw Lewenz, LLP, 110 SE 6th Street, Suite #2900, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, which was signed for by the law office on 9/6/22. No one has called or emailed me with follow up. I have exhausted all efforts in attempting to reach Kim Slaven and the law office for resolution.
I have also been requesting a copy of the settlement documentation including the payout amount I am to receive and to this day I have not received documentation. I requested the items be sent via secure email or certified mail to my home address and have received no response from Kim Slaven or the law office.
