I bought a lamp ( flair lamp) with the model MOBITAL BLACK SHADE on the 22ND of July and my invoice specifies that my lamp would arrive in 9 weeks from the purchase. One detail called my attention as me and my wife where walking down the street and saw one of the locations of the same name going out of business. I have tried to call them several times and the voice mail is full and remains full until today. The location that sold me the lamp is having a sale and they are closed all the time. I don't know where to call and my money, or my lamp in this case, is missing. Please I would appreciate response to this as soon as possible because this was a birthday gift for my wife on Sept 11Th and is a little delayed.

I purchased a sofa on august the 10th at their clearance showroom that was closing. To this day I have never been contacted from their side, even after they said they would get back to me. It was supposed to arrive the first week of september, I found out by going to one of their stores that it was 2 weeks late and should be here the following week. No call, nothing, I have tried calling their warehouse everyday and even been down to it, and have not been ever able to talk to anyone. At this point I about ready to call VISA and let them know my money was stolen and try to retract the transaction.

While I can't help you with your lamp I can help other Yaletown Sofa customers. We were a supplier to Yaletown Sofa and are trying to help their customers receive their orders. If you ordered leather or fabric upholstery from them, there is a good chance that we have your order but could not release it to Yaletown Sofa since they were not paying for old orders. If you would like to check send an email to info@stylussofas.com with your name, phone number and any details you have of your order (ie style, piece, fabric or leather etc).

Yes, call Visa and tell them the situation. You'll probably have to wait 30 days to get your money back, since Yaletown Sofa is "closed" and not "bankrupted". I called my Visa company back in early September and filed my dispute request with them. I was told we need to wait 30-days before they can get me my money back.

I ordered two tables from them back in early August and was told a delivery time of 2-3 weeks. It's now almost two months. Though I finally got one of the two tables a couple weeks ago, but they still owe me one table. They kept telling us "another week or two", etc. My husband has been trying to call them (both the store and the warehouse) since, but to this day, no one ever called us back or returned our emails.

Similar experience. Purchased sofa and dining set in May, never delivered. long drawn out affair with this company. they of course closed for good on Sep 16, but as news stories yesterday suggest, Zane Lowell disappeared and hasn't been heard from and didn't declare bankruptcy so its causing problems. I met Zane on Sept 10th and was able to get a refund for the dining set, but not for the sofa, so now I have to go through the long drawn out dispute process with mastercard (sadly I paid in full up front).
Stylus has been great in dealing with us on this... anyone who purchased a stylus sofa from YTS should definitely get in touch with them right away...
This whole situation has been so frustrating I can't even put it into words adequately, I just hope I get my money back or else I'm gonna be really stuck for a long time... while I feel for YTS employees and the situation that has come down, I have to say, I (along with many others) were lied to for a long time about what was happening and its shameful that people like the original poster here were still being sold furniture when the store knew full well they had no credit left and suppliers were not releasing pieces to them (And believe me they did. I had numerous conversations with various representatives from YTS including Annette Gander of NW / BBY / Coal Harbor locations, as well as managers from Stylus that confirmed that in fact nothing was happening after their initial closure), and yet they were still selling them anyway. very dishonest, and I hope that those individuals will somehow be penalized once this is all said and done. And assuming mister Lowell is still out there somewhere (and lets hope he is because I wouldn't wish any ill-will despite this situation), he has a lot of people to answer to and hopefully that too will come very soon.
good luck to us all.

to further add. We bought 4 items, the item that we are still owed money from is an ottoman (UL-Moloki-white). Which costs $450 plus tax. Feed back as in help. Thanks and God bless.
