Xterior Xcellence review: Took off with my cash deposit

Buyer/consumer beware of this contractor!

Xterior Xcellence, rooofing company in west berlin, nj avoid business dealing with this con artist. Even the e-mail addresses he list on the internet are bogus, every e-mail I've sent has been returned undeliverable. On July 31st I gave Kevin Harrison A cash deposit of $2100.00 to began roof repairs on August 4th, needless to say no work was started. He promised to bring the permit on Monday August 2nd with instructions to put in the window. When work was supposed to began, he claimed rain was in the forecast; NO RAIN occurred ! The next week, I had to call him, he promised to get started right away after he completed a job he was presently on. The following week, guess what no Kevin Harrison from XTERIOR XCELLENCE. After several phones calls from me, leaves me a voicemail claiming he has a family situation and he will not be working or returning any phone calls until his family situation has been resolved. Monday August 16th I call my township Construction code office and and to no one's surprise but mine, Kevin Harrison never applied for a permit, despite the fact my deposit included the permit fee! August 17th 2010, still no Kevin Harrison, Xterior Xcellence, no roof or my deposit!
