Please do not order from this company. I ordered boots; they took payment from my card the same day, but the boots never arrived despite numerous emails to the company - at first they fobbed me off saying that due to high demand my order was taking longer than anticipated. Then they stopped replying completely, depsite my threats to notify the police (which I did). Still no boots!

I ordered on 29 December and left it until Jan 14 to email the director and the website as i found out the company was dissolved on 12 November 2013. Got an immediate reply saying i would have boots by the end of the week. No boots arrived emailed the friday 24 Jan and monday 27 no reply. Emailed today threatening that fraud had been committed and demanding a full refund. Got an immediate reply saying i will have the boots by Saturday and he was having problems getting them. Thankfully my friend found this site so i am now in touch with my credit card company to try and get a full refund. Heres hoping. I can't believe the website is still up and running and that he can lie so blatnatly and take peoples hard earned money this way . So annoyed !

Hi, I also made the mistake from ordering a pair of boots from this company on 30th December 2013. Payment was taken the next day. The boots never arrived. Their phone number is disconnected & had no response to 5 of my emails. My bank were very good at making a dispute claim & I was fortunate to get my money back. Completely agree this company is a scam/fraudulent site and it's shocking they are still operational.

Hi, credit card payments over £100 are covered by law.. unfortunately debit cards aren't covered the same in law. I believe that you can ask your bank to initiate a chargeback and if they refuse you can refer it to the financial ombudsman. Hopefully trading standards will take site offline to prevent anyone else getting scammed.

We ordered boots on 25th November, and payment was taken in full. Wish I'd checked company status first. Money should be refunded through credit card and I have reported em to trading standards.

Sorry to say I was taken in too. My order accepted and credit card debited on Nov 15, yet when checked on companies house website it said company dissolved on nov 12. My bank will refund my money fortunately, but their website is still up now and you can still order boots. Crazy! I am so angry they can get away with this.

The same thing has happened to me. I ordered on the 23 rd Oct 2013, payment was taken the next day despite website saying delivery would take 4 weeks. Instead of the boots arriving I got a scam email purporting to be from DHL, claiming to have tried to deliver an item. To get the details you had to click on an attachment. My anti-viral software detected a virus and prevented me opening it. Then I discovered Darling Boots phone number doesn't work. I have reported the whole incident to action fraud police and entered into dispute process with credit card company.

I too ordered from darling boots and as previous posters, money taken from my account but no order delivered. They do not respond to emails and the phone number does not work. Thankfully my credit card company has refunded my money back to me. Don't understand how they can still keep taking orders and peoples money. Traders like this make me so angry, if you are in trouble and can't fulfill orders shut your webpage and refund peoples money.

I too have been taken in by these nasty scammers! Hope my bank can sort it as I used debit card not credit card. It makes me sick. Time I have wasted trying to make contact. Time on phone to bank. And the bluming worry. Thanks for that darlingboots like I havnt got enough to do. Feeling angry. Why are they still allowed to trade ? I don't get it.

My wife has also just been caught out by this website, going through the dispute process with the bank now... surely the site should have been delisted upon the first dispute!

I have also opened a fraud dispute with my bank so will also be refunded, but I'm very annoyed that they are still able to take orders.

I have had the same issue. I have contacted my bank this morning and opened a fraud dispute, they confirmed that a refund will be provided through the bank within 7-10 days so contact yours if you haven't already!
