We are trying to get our money back
from World Travel for selling us a travel service that we have
been unable to use. We are using investigators, in legal process on this, and speaking to politicians to bring charges.

We have contacted the company to return the amount we paid over and over again, seeing as it can not be used for the reason we purchased, and that
is specified in our contract. Our intent is to sue them for all the funds we
have spent, plus any legal, court and investigative fees.

We purchased this plan for a total of $5995 June 5th 2011 from World Travel at their Long Beach location. 1501 Hughes Way Ste. 100 Long Beach, Ca.
The sales manager was Michael Walker, podium sales representative Julio, (see contract copy) and
both stated, as well as the contract, that the plan included flight discounts and assistance. We also put
out $299 more in dues (2012) that we also expect to receive back.

The only reason we bought this program, was for the airline flight help, since we already had a travel service that covers our travel needs. Amazingly, our current vacation plan GEVC, has now taken over the exact office here in Long Beach that World Travel vacated. They may have some
company contact information?

We made several attempts to use World Travel, we contacted them, as well as "Travel Services", the company they supposedly have running their program. We found out it was impossible to use, and then told that "air travel discounts were only included if it is part of "a package". Seeing
as we have rooms generally paid for, that was not our specified intent with this
purchase, and is not what we spoke of with them at purchase, and that they, and our contract
states.

We were dissatisfied and contacted the company early on - only to receive no help or concern. Then after the date had passed, we received a letter stating that as of January 1st 2013, "Worldwide Travel Services" was moving their "West Coast headquarters". Even though this letter had a different company name than "World Travel", the company we had dealt with, had vacated the Long Beach office in our area. The letter has no date, or forwarding address. I called and got the
current address of 25230 Avenue Stanford, Valencia, CA 91355. With, the phone
number they have listed in the letter is [protected]. After speaking to many there, trying to get information on World Travel, I began to wonder if these were the same company, even though they
continued to state they were not the same company. Just "the company that serviced our travel needs". I spoke to Assita then, who was no help. The "Travel Service" letterhead that this letter was on
shows an address of 100 Springdale Rd. A3#401 Cherry Hill, NJ [protected]) TSA (872)
-1311 ww.MyTSOnline.com

I continued calling since there seemed to be a connection. The corporate office in New Jersey that I found was at [protected] there I spoke to Trace at X102. In Valencia I spoke several times to a
supposed regional manager Mark Ganin [protected]. Who stated "this had been done to other people, and he would try to get more information" for us. He stated "I don't know, they
could be in California, Nevada, Arizona, Florida"? This conversation went on for many months.
He did credit the 2013 dues of $199 we had been charged again, (the credit card credit was from the Cherry Hills address) but Mark later started not calling back or answering. One of the times he did not answer, I did speak to one of his employee's there that was a former World Travel employee from the office down here in Long Beach, working there...

I also spoke to a Ken Miller [protected] X120 on 7-11-13, and a few other offices - all of them stating they had nothing to do with World Travel.
Toward the end of 2013(?) I started speaking to Freddie Pena, [protected] who basically took over for Mark Ganin. He did not last long with me asking information, and ended up hanging up on me. I did mention they had former World Travel employee's, and he quickly stated, "not anymore"... I have not heard from anyone since.

I have called the old phone number for the LB World Travel office, and it still goes through to Travel Services in Valencia. Was also just told 3-25-14 that "no LB employee's work there any longer", when I tried to ask info on the former manager Cheryl Severns. I was given the
Travel Services "customer service" number [protected] which is another number
in Valencia. It is a number I called before a long while back and talked to an Assita, who was no help. It is listed on searches as a mobile phone in Burbank / Valencia. Interesting that Travel Services would answer on the phone line that belonged to World Travel, and was on their former office
manager's email as her contact phone number.

All this is very fishy, and it will probably be very easy to unravel the truth, with the right resources, since I have already caught these people in many contradictions, and flat out lies.. At this point investigator is getting the necessary information we need to file the suit against the company or companies
necessary. We are getting our those funds returned per attorney.

We had an issue with the "free" (not really) cruise we were supposed to have as a perk for going to
the initial sales meeting. By the time I got to the manager, it was no longer Michael Walker, but a lady
named Cheryl Severns. She was extremely helpful, and an opposite of all we had dealt with regarding World Travel. She straightened out our cruise mess, and was trying to find out how to help us get a
refund regarding the package - but when we checked back she was gone. I was told a few times she moved to Arizona. I do not know if she was still with the company. I have attached a copy of one of our last e-mails - as well as one from her contact at the travel agency they were using...
There may be some more help somewhere here?

Hi Got an answer quicker than I
thought. You will be getting a call directly from Sunrise Travel from Alex. I
have given them all the
information about the cruise you
want to take and told them you are flexible anytime between Sept. and Feb. (the
off-peak season).
I will be sending you a cruise
cert to send in, but it’s only a formality, they just need your signature on the
Terms and Conditions.
You will be dealing with Alex and
myself directly. I have told them to contact me if there are any questions that
come up and you do
the
same.
I’ll be in touch to see how things
are going.

Yes, we are also still pursuing World Travel / Travel Services. They are always trying to play a shell game, but as many people as they have robbed, they are bound to be caught with all of us that are out there pursuing. The politicians are aware - there are investigations and talks going on. We will continue to pursue, long and loud, until all of our monies are returned in full. They are snakes, and we are doing all we can to notify people everywhere, in every way possible, until they are finally shut down. That's great you are writing letters as well. We will let you know when we get there on this!

We have all the supporting documentation, all authorities, and government people know about them, but as of yet, we are still hoping to bring them down, as well as all their shell companies they use.
They specifically make it hard to get nailed, and that is why we are continuing the growing list of those with cases against them, They lie to everyone, at every point, right to their face. Very evil - very corrupt. We have seen people taken that were old - retired - disabled - vets, all scammed... The good thing is, sooner or later, they will lose!~

Please keep us informed, and best wishes, Patti

I too was a victim of World Travel/Travel Services. On June29, 2011 I signed a contract with them for $6543.00 ; which I unwittingly put on my credit card which has accumalated thousands of $$$ of interest that I am still paying. I have received no travel services from them except for a trip to Doeheny Beach that I actually booked on my own. I have called them several times regarding the cancellation of this contract and the refund of my $$$ . When they refused I contacted the Better Business Bureau and they did nothing to help me.I have contacted the BBB on a previous concern about insurance regulations' again to no avail. Why do these agencies even exist. Are they not suppose to protect the consummers?!? Who pays their salaries if they are a non-profit organization--WE DO...the taxpaying consummers. Back to the case in hand World Travel. I paid a small claims ageny $400.00plus to file the case in the Downey Courts to find out that there offices are now in Valencia. I have a scheduled court date on 9/9/15 in Downey which may have to be changed. The small claims agency is serving there office in Valencia as I am writing this complaint. Please keep me informed of the progress you are making in your attempts to shut down this operation and bring them to--JUSTICE- They need to be made accountable for the money they have stolen from unfulfilled contract. emolina2008@live.com

I was also a victim of this scam and have sent information to my lawyer. I have giving them over $3200.00 in the Long Beach, CA office and then they disappeared. They continued to take my money out of my account for an annual due, but they where unable to keep their promises. I changed the credit card that they were using so they tried to send me to "pre" collections. That company dropped the case as soon as I wrote them a letter. I am sending a letter the their New Jersey office, but I am expecting that letter to be returned as well. If you learn of any information regarding getting our money back or if you hear of a class action lawsuit, I would be very interested in getting involved in the case.
