Sunday, May 15th at approximately 11:15 my husband and son weee returning bottles and we’re unaware of the $14.40 max return as the signs are all in Spanish 🤷🏻‍♀️ Zero signs in English anywhere. So they go in to cash in their tickets and the lady was extremely rude to my husband and then when my son was in line to get his share of returning his cans the lady screams across the store to watch that kid in the fox hat and make sure he doesn’t cash in anymore..that was my son she completely humiliated. I’m just disgusted by the behavior of the employees in the store. Also the can return tickets state “can only return that day of”, so how am I supposed to get the remaining of my $? HAD the signs been in English and Spanish then there wouldnt be a problem, right? Fred Meyers is forever our store, goodbye Safeway. What’s the point in recycling if there is a cap on the amount we can recycle? Recycling is supposed to be a good thing, not turned into an embarrassing situation. The world needs help if this is how we’re going to treat each other when all we were doing was recycling.

Desired outcome: The store employees clearly need re-training on customer service, bottom line. IF I can’t get the remaining of my money I’m owed $33.30 by Safeway corporation.
