LTL shipment from California got lost in shipping, when it finally arrived it, Vision Express - Wrag time woould not let me inspect the product for damage. Said if I didn't want it, put it back on the truck, otherwise take it as it is.

Turns out they were hiding the fact the pakage had actually been smashed between two other palletized items, mine being the most delicate and getting damaged. No visable package damage, so we excepted it.

For emails later... I can't even get a response back from them.
Driver was rude, dispatcher was rude and even hung up on me while on the phone trying to get permission to inspect package.

Will try and nver ship with this comapny again... Hope you all heed my warning. Poor tracking, poor quality delivery, poor live assistance and no after the fact assistance.

I have complete photo documentation and lots of witnesses to the abusive nature of the delivery.

Included photo shows crack in plastic, unit still attached to pallet and metal frame underneath smashed, plastic went back into somewhat original shape, but still cracked.

I have no doubt this contributed to the damage of the ATV... My complaint was with the way the trucking company denied my right to inspect the property. It would have been very obvious after inspecting what caused the damage, and the proper blame would have been made.

Not allowing me to inspect my package just makes the trucking company look guilty and after the dispatcher hung up on me like a 5 year old... it just makes you wonder, with so many people out of work, why we have to deal with such incompetence. Reprimand the dispatcher, and let’s move on with business. Don’t just act like I am making an unrealistic request to look at the package while driver is still present as an eye witness.

The package was ill constructed, and when the smoke cleared, the original sender did indeed replace the damaged parts and they are golden in my eyes. As for the trucking company… we will never use their service for anything. Oh did I mention we ship several million dollars a year in freight. Yes, making decisions like theirs to treat a customer rudely and unprofessionally could certainly affect their bottom line.

Looks like the goods were overhanging the pallet in your picture which would cause the damage when placed next to other freight. This is a packaging issue with the party who shipped this to you. Happens a lot as these importers do not enhance the packaging to adequately protect the goods moving across the country on a truck. Packed into an ocean container there is very little chance for movement so the packaging requirements are significantly reduced.
