purchase a carbon fiber roof and headers from steve prescott, received the roof and the condition was terrible and it did not fit and was made with atrocious fit and finish, proceeded to call and was told to take it and it would be dealt with, after months of no answer to phone calls, i was told that the original arrangements would not be adhered to and that i would have to drive 1300km to return the product to the place that i picked the product up at, in the mean time i tried to install a set of headers that were made by him and all the holes did not line up and it was a 3 day night mare to get them installed, then due to cheap metal the headers heated up more that normal due to the wall thickness and melted my car, they had to be taken off and thrown away. There was also damage to my soft top due to the firmament of the hard top still have not received any refund from the roof and have had to throw away 3500 dollar set of headers and it also cost me 3200 to get the installed and 1200 to get them removed. i have lost close to 7000.00 on the headers and 2500.00 on the roof and cannot get any customer satisfaction and it has been over 6 months.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Theres no date on this but Im guessing between 2011 and 2015. Possibly up to 2018. Steve Prescott of Vipair/Transglobal Communications (TC) has been scamming people and ripping ppl off since that time. Vipair used to be out of Skylane Blvd but has long since vacated that area. He then used to work out of his home in Santa Rosa but has since vacated that place too.
Transglobal now works out of 161 st in Edmonton, AB. Steve and Dawn live in 1 Estate Cr., St Albert, AB. His old (707) number no longer works. His new number is (780) 292-XXXX. His old Vipair email wont work for you either. U can try his email at Transglobal Communications.
In 2007, Steve was sued by the main supplier to TC (mainly a kids books designer/graphic design place), a chinese company called Stone Sapphire. Alberta Court of Queens Bench (ABQB) found in the Plaintiff's favour of $1.5 million. Stone Sapphire's law firm used was Mclennan Ross. Transglobal's was Witten LLC. Further Summary judgments against Transglobal/Steve amounted to approx $6 million. but that money was paid out to other Secured Creditors (i.e. HSBC bank)
Steve/Transglobal was further sued around 2008 by an ex-employee/manager Josh for slander/libel when Steve tried to blame him for embezzlement of the missing money that was supposed to be paid to the creditors. Other multiple ex-employees who testified against him include a salesman (not paid), a secretary (Steve made up false sexual harassment accusations from her to make her look insane), a pre-press man Mike L, and others. It was testified that Steve and his nephew regularly spied on employees iChats to see what they were saying about him!
It was further uncovered that Steve regulary used TC company funds for huge personal use, including buying Hummers and Vipers. While it's legal to do with your company's money as u wish, these assets were all technically TC property, not Steve's or Dawn's. They were guilty of the embezzlement they accused Josh of. A company's assets should remain with the company. That's what protects you from personal seizures or judgments. But Steve doesn't really care about that.
