I purchased a 2018 Hyundai Tucson from this dealership on April 18, 2022. I informed the sales person that I was not interested in any "add ons" and was presented a purchase agreement with only the cost of the vehicle. After I reviewed and signed that form I was told there was a mistake and a new document had to be signed. This happened three times. I had already spent many, many hours at the dealership and believed that my review of the document had been sufficient. Upon reviewing the purchase agreement at home I saw that the business manager, Brian Sharp had added several services that I did/do not want. The total addition to my financing of the vehicle is $6,714.00. I spent several weeks attempting to get this corrected by the dealership and was given nothing more than excuses, unanswered voicemails and several hours of wasted time. I spent many more hours contacting the individual business' and cancelling most of these fraudulent add ons myself.
One fraudulent service I have not been able to stop is the ZAKTEK system that is sold by Village Pointe Toyota. This unrequested add on is an additional $2585.00. I recently received a post card indicating it is time to schedule this service. I called and requested that it be refunded as I had specifically stated that I was not interested in any add on charges to my purchase. I was sent to another department, got voice mail, left a message and have yet to receive a response. That is nearly three weeks ago.
Village Pointe Toyota is practicing fraudulent sales techniques. They are non responsive when confronted about this, especially the business manager Brian Sharp I am 22 years old and I believe without doubt that I was targeted for this fraud due to my lack of experience in making this type of purchase.
Desired outcome: I need someone to break through the "noncommunication barrier" that Village Pointe Toyota is employing with me and I demand that the ZAKTEK system charge be paid back to my auto loan principal.
