BioLife Plasma Services - Paperwork

This is the 3rd time I have tried to donate and have been denied all 3 times, why? Because of a Dr note. 1st time I was told just needed a note, got that nope not good enough needed biolifes forms filled out, did that nope now biolifes Dr needed to review them and he is only in on Wednesdays, It takes me 30 minutes one way to get to biolife and nobody let me know, so now not only have I wasted gas and my own personal time but took time off from work to go to my Dr to have the paperwork filled out. So biolife do you want new donors or not?

Desired outcome: For staff to be retrained to let people know about paperwork and that a biolife Dr has to review before being able to donate

BioLife Plasma Services - Covid precautions and disrespectful manager

I'm a donor at the Pasco Washington BioLife and there is a workerwho has Covid but is still instructed by management to go to work I stopped my donation Midway when I found that out. It is not safe, extra precaution should be in place. Doesntmatter if that worker shows symptoms or not this is absolutely unacceptable because they are still contagious. I had Covid in 2020 and it was the absolute worst thing in my life and I am not going to get my children sick because employees are being forced to go back to work regardless. It is obvious when they are sick and it makes you wonder how many don't get tested simply because of management. Laura has a horrible attitude and talks badly to the employees I believe she is the manager. She scoffs and belittles the employees in front of the anybody. I've seen her make an employee cry at my last donation. She needs disciplinary action, I have been coming here for years and she is very disrespectful and speaks to the employees like they are dumb. There was a time when I was at the front desk getting help, that a pregnant employee got dizzy and had to sit down and they all called Laura over their microphones for assistance and she came and didnt even interact with the employee, instead she made a loud sigh and went into her office rolling her eyes. The employees safety and well-being is disregarded I will no longer be donating until this has been fixed and Laura has been spoken to. I have already told my friends who also donate and they will not be showing up either.

Desired outcome: Revise COVID protocol and commit to donor/employee safety. Laura needs to stop being disrespectful to the employees.
