Gentle Dental - billing and excessive charges

I am Elanna Hope Wilson-Guzman
I have entrusted the care of my family to Gentle Dental for several years. I have been a supporter and recommended the services to multiple friends. However, I have had multiple issues recently. First, my insurance was not showing up and I ended up paying out of pocket for my son's extractions (September 3rd) and I was told when the insurance was worked out the business office would bill the insurance. I have asked 3 times and conveniently there is no payment from the insurance. I have tried to be patient but it's been months.
Second, today, I went to Gentle Dental Charleston LV, NV because the orthodontist reported we had to have my younger son's tooth brought down so he could get a bracket for his braces. We saw her on Friday 1/24/20 and she said the tooth was coming in but we still needed to get it surgically pulled down. We were not given any cost for the procedure and I have insurance. Today (1/28/20) we went to the oral surgeon and he told us surgery was not needed and charged us $190 for the 3 minute consultation. I was told the consultation was not covered by my insurance. I have Principal insurance.
So, I took off work, my son out of school and a payment I didn't need. So currently I am out over $500 that were not expenses my family should have had.
I want the long overdue reimbursement and the consultation reimbursed. I want the orthodontist to be truthful when they decide that a child "needs" oral surgery, even though she saw the tooth was already coming in. I am thankful to the surgeon for not doing unnecessary surgery but to charge $190 for just telling me we don't need surgery is excessive.
