Wawa - Poor service and racism

Yesterday, Saturday morning, I went into wawa in Gibbsboro nj (rt 561), wawa is a place I visit and my workers almost everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. A wawa I live less than a quarter mile away in Voorhees nj. I stopped in for a 20 oz coffee, 2 sandwiches, 4 bags of ice, 2 boxes of donuts, a smoothie, ATM. After taking half of my purchase to my van, I returned back in to order something else and to take the rest of my purchase to my van. I was by myself Saturday morning so It took me a few trips to take out all of my purchase. I returned back to grab my sandwich orders, one of the sandwiches was knocked out of my hand at the door. I turned around went back to the deli explain that one of the chicken sandwiches fell on the floor. The reaction that I thought I was going to get was professionalism and customer respect, but that wasn't the case. The woman working at the deli, that had a different shirt on than the rest of the workers that had on black, was very disrespectful. She responded. "Take that off of my counter and you'll have to wait until I finish all of these other orders," after pausing for a few good seconds looking at me with attitude like I don't want to give you anything, and she was extremely insulting. I responded, "Mam, what would you like me to do with it?" She said I don't care what you do with it just get it off of my counter. I said to her, mam can't you put in the trash right there at your counter like other wawa's. All I got was completed attitude 😑. When she finally got to making my sandwich, as 4 bags of ice was melting in a hot van which I tried to explained. She made my chicken sandwiches in the worst way purposely, by putting the bare minimum and tomato butts on my sandwich. When I got to my van and looked at my sandwich it was awful. I went back in and ask the same person could she make my food without tomato butts with a green hard core. I sat the sandwich back on the counter, she then held up 2 tomato up in the air. Then I ask her what I'm I suppose to do, are u just going to throw them in my hand🤔 and then she threw them in the window where the sandwich was, and they landed partial on the sandwich and in the sandwich box, it was appalling. She then started talking loudly and disrespectful. I then ask for the manager. The manager came and ask me what happen, I explained. She was still talking very sharply and disrespectful. During all of this unprofessionalism, this was done in front of multiple customers. Out of a packed store, I was the only black in the store, including workers, I clearly was Being treated differently than anyone else in the store. I also own a Coffee & Smoothie Cafe, in West Berlin, that will soon be opening. And I will never allow any of my employees or myself to treat anyone in this manner. Any questions: My name is Mr Russell Oatman [protected]) email [protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: A full apology
