On four different occasions i've let staff know that a member has a loud personal music device on inside of the shower stall she was using, and that the loud music was bothering me. I was told that this was against policy but that the manager needed to be the person to deal with the situation. A week ago I filled out this form because staff told me that was the best way to have the manager deal with it. I filled out this form and then saw hayley the very next day, but she said she was too busy to talk to me about it. I never heard back from her or anyone else about it. Last night the person with a music device in the shower was playing her music and I asked staff about the situation. I was told that the manager has given this member special permission to play her personal music devices in the locker room and showers. A staff member told me that if I did not like her music I should leave. How rude.
The manager was terminated. Planet Fitness management does not want their managers ignoring the concerns of members. In this case, things became worse before they became better. I won't go into details, but will say that what happened should not have happened, and the out of hand situation was dealt with in a professional manner.
