Caliber Collision Centers - Hail Repair/Customer Service

Caliber Collision - Headquarters,

To Whom It May Concern,

This complaint is in reference to Caliber Collision branch located at: 708 Nichols Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80907

My vehicle was scheduled to be dropped off for hail repairs on Dec 4th 2023. The appointment was made in June 2023. In October 2023 my insurance company reached out to verify if I still had my appointment, I contacted the shop and verified the date and time of the appointment.

2 days before my appointment, I was contacted by the Caliber Collision representative stating that they had to reschedule my appointment. I was told they were understaffed because of the holidays and the contractors responsible for hail repair were taking holiday time off. They couldn’t reschedule it during that call and told me I would be contacted within a week to get my new appointment date. I did not receive a follow up call. I called the shop today, Jan 2nd 2024, and was told that due to reasons they had no control over (that being personnel taking holiday vacations and not having enough people to work on repairs) the soonest available appointment they could get me would be end of March 2024. The representative also added that they would be doing me a favor by getting me in so soon. During the phone call, the representative stated that cancelling my initial appointment was done out of courtesy, that instead they would’ve taken my vehicle in on Dec 4 2023 but the work wouldn’t start until April 2024, and while they believe I was experiencing a minor inconvenience the shop was actually doing me a favor by letting me drop it off few months later at the end of March 2024.

If, at the time of making my initial appointment, I new that Caliber Collision conduct business this way I would never have chosen to work with them.

This is not the type of customer service one expects when they decide to trust Caliber Collision! This conduct and way of running the business shouldn’t be acceptable.
