Ramada - the "non-smoking" room was not suitable to stay in (filthy, smokey)

I booked a Ramada near Denver for my family for the night of July 26, 2019-July 27, 2019. After checking in we realized that the rooms we were offered were not suitable for our family. We immediately looked for another hotel to stay in and left as soon as we had one booked.

This hotel was so terrible we could not even stay the night. The room we were given at check-in smelled terribly of smoke (likely pot) and did not have enough beds to accommodate our party of 6 (the sofa bed was missing). I requested a new room that had not been smoked in and which had enough beds. The new room did have a sofa bed but it smelled even worse than the first, and the carpet and furnishings were so soiled that I did not even want to put our luggage on the floor. I was traveling with my children (ages 5, 8, 10), my husband, and my mother-in-law (age 72). We knew we could not stay in this hotel but doubted whether we could find another one in Denver on a Friday night to accommodate 6 guests. Luckily we found one near-by for a small amount more than we had booked the Ramada for (previous to that, the Ramada was the most expensive hotel of our 11-night trip and by far the worst). As soon as I booked the other hotel we packed out our luggage and I turned in both sets of keys. I informed the front desk that we could not stay the night. They asked why and I explained. I was not offered a receipt so I thought that perhaps I would not be charged, but the charge did indeed show up on my credit card.

I have stayed in Ramadas before and this was far from the quality that I was expecting. This was a nightmare even for a Motel 6. The staff was very accommodating and I have no complaints about them other than being charged for the room. I have never walked out of a hotel before, but these suites were obviously used for party rooms and were not suitable for my family to stay in.

I am requesting a full refund for this room. Please do not offer a free night. I highly recommend you look into this property. It should not be part of the Ramada franchise.

Ramada - hotel stay

My stay at the Ramada Centennial room 402 was horrible. The room was in disrepair. Holes in the walls, stains in the shower as well as the towels provided to shower and dry off at the pool, missing knobs t.v remotes and the lock on the door. The sink and shower were stopped up. I was never able to speak to management about my problems. Worst hotel EVER!

Ramada - room safety

Regarding my stay on the night of June 9, 2019 in a suite with my family. Reservation was under Figueroa. Multiple safety concerns, including door deadbolt not locking, possible mold in bathroom, and smoke alarm appears to be inoperative. This is an older property, and I expected wear and year. I didn't expect it to be as run down as it was. I'd be concerned that the Ramada/ Wyndam name is associated with this property. My experience has left me wondering if I should stay at Wyndam properties in the future.
