Warranty Protection Services - Warranty protection services plan for auto coverage

On March 9, 2023, my husband and I e-mailed our written and signed letter to cancel and requested a full refund on the Warranty Protection Services contract initiated September 2022. The contract number is CGC22944348 for the 2015 C300 Mercedes Benz, VIN # 55SWF4KB8FU022187. We demanded a full refund of the charged amounts back to the credit card number on file for all of the charges since 09/09/2022. We have tried to work out this cancelation and refund process since March 9, 2023 and this company is giving us the run around, not answering our e-mail or request but sending us to another company (WALCO). WALCO then states they don't know Warranty Protection Services.

In February 2023, my son’s car, the 2015 C300 Mercedes Benz, VIN # 55SWF4KB8FU022187, had parts fail. Warranty Protection Services refused to cover the part citing it was external parts that failed which is not true. The parts that failed were the PCV Valve and Crankcase Vent Valve. These parts are internal parts that failed on the car and Warranty Protection Services should have honored their policy to replace them.

Furthermore, this is a continual problem with this year, model and make of car from Mercedes Benz and many customers are having the same problems for these same failed parts. Mercedes Benz is aware of this problem and isn’t correcting this issue. They are the company that mailed my husband notification of the option to add Warranty Protection Services as a warranty service for this car. In good faith I opted to purchase this warranty service and it is a scam.

I, Danielle P. Smith, filed a dispute with my credit card company in March 2023 against Warrant Protection Services as they kept giving me and my husband the runaround over the phone, via e-mail, and made no changes to refund us for my payments.

Payments made:

September 2022 $295.00

October 2022 $264.61

November 2022 $264.61

December 2022 $264.61

January 2023 $264.61

February 2023 $264.61

March 2023 $264.61

Total $1882.66

Payments for December 2022, January 2023, February 2023 & March 2023 were credited back to my credit card, thanks to my credit card company. However, the following remaining payments have yet to be refunded to my credit card.

September 2022 $295.00

October 2022 $264.61

November 2022 $264.61

Total $824.22

We request a full refund on the remaining unrefunded payments from September, October and November 2022, totaling $824.22.

Warranty Protection Services - Platinum delux service contract

So right about in the middle of march these guys contacted me about getting a warranty service through them, I tried and I cannot afford it, I have not used the warranty service nor even taken the paper work out of the package they sent. $100 deductible fee at the start said I could get a refund if I called n canceled witch I planned on doing when they went ahead and took $179 from my checking for the service for the first month. Called, terrible customer service, I mentioned refund and she hung the phone on me. They have taken $279 from me and I have not used the warranty once. I want my money back, these guys suck.
