To whom it may concern, 
I bought the voucher/coupon for the membership online at costco.com
$60 for Gold and receive $10 cash card
$120 for Executive and receive $20.
In October, 2017
I bought it, brought it in the costco store on Broadway, in Chula Vista, California to redeem. At first, the lady did not know anything about this one, she passed it to younger guy name Tony. He was quick, scanned the barcode and everything. Then I asked him if I can receive my $20 cash card as stated in the email. Promptly and quickly, he answered right away "they will be mailed to your house in couple weeks." I was like really? Are you sure? He comfimed yes. 
I got help with the membership BUT not the cashcard. I have been patiently waiting for the cards to come to my house. 2 months passes, today is December 7th, 2017, I go to costco in Mission Valley, San Diego, California and ask about it. The lady was really nice, she read the email and tell me the cards should be given at the time of signing up. 
I was really disappointed because of wrong information was given to me by Tony. 
I went back to the Costco on Broadway, Chula Vista to ask Tony about it. He was busy, he did not remember who I was. I was nice reminding him about the situation but he was very irresponsible saying "I never told you that. I never said anything." Amazing, not even a single word of apology! And then he kept taking other returns without looking or saying anything to me. There was a lady name Carla and supervisor Emerto (i am not sure). They did help me out and I got the $20 cash card. But still, there is nothing sush as "we are sorry." I wasted my time waiting for the cards because Tony did not know how to read. He assumed things that he was not sure "they will mail you the cards?" Ridiculous customer service. It took me 2 hours to drive back and ford and waiting. But still no apology either from Costco member since 1984 or 2005.
