We 2x scheduled appointsments as non insurance, cash paying customers for full checkup/evaluation. The cost listed is $120. We paid that. Filled out the "mandatory" paperwork before visit and 1x had to fill out ipad. After both visits, we are hit with a $22.00 bill. States for "mental health screening." 2 things: 1st, we never requested or asked for said screening. 2nd, there is and has been no mention of this "service". Both things = no contract, no agreed upon services etc. I emailed billing and was told once its billed they can't do anything. Well before we make another call, I am giving village medical the opportunity to eliminate those bills as well as be honest and upfront with your patients. In fact, when I was there 1x the front desk lady forced some elderly gentleman to complete said "mental health screening" - he was agitated by the process so the front desk personnel finsihed it for him. Guarantee you folks bill his insurance or medicare for this. I will speak up. This practice is wrong.
