In Sept 2021 the pilot light went out and could not be re-lit.
PG&E determined that the thermal couple was faulty and needed replacement. Abed Sarari from a company named awhap came to change the thermal couple and said if he changes the part it probably will still not work. I heard one lie after another but he didn't stand a chance because I had my ducks in a row. He ran out of my house without telling me he was leaving. Don't used that company either, they are scammers. At this point I contacted Rheem Warranty Dept and they said me they would reimburse me for the part. I purchased the part, installed it and sent in the required information to get reimbursed per their directions. They said I should get my refund in 2 months. It has been 3 months and I am trying to get status. I called [protected] and they transferred me to who knows what and I held for 53 minutes. The woman she had transferred me to said in needed to speak to the department I originally spoke to, so I ask for a supervisor. I was placed on hold for another 30 minutes. I hung up and called back and the male transferred me to hold again for 53 minutes. Finally I spoke to Johnathon who was helpful, and he said the supervisor approved the reimbursement voucher and it will be sent out within 2 weeks. What an awful waste of two hours for a simple question. Hopefully I will not have to call them again. The (Mis) Managers of this company need to be fired and more. I cannot put in writing what should be done to the greedy pigs that in charge of this corporation.
Desired outcome: This desired outcome is to be determined in 2 weeks
Same here getting the runaround for a warranted promise to refund and still after two months no refund. i call and they say it is still being processed. Yeah right. Poor customer service. Lies.
