United Legal Services review: Complaint and mandetory payment or threat of garnishing wages

I received a call/recorded message. When I returned the call, the woman that answered the phone never acknowledged her name nor gave the phone to angel and she did not say he was unavailable. His voice sounded intruding, did not sound like an attorney. He finished the voice recording, you have been served and if we do not hear from you today (the same day), the manner will be escalated.

I inquired what this was about and she said I have a civil complaint against me and provided a CV number for mandatory or wage garnishment payment in the amount of 8,860.92. This was from 2009 and they are just now contact me. Seemed suspicious. They reposed the vehicle in 2009 and now demanding payment in full through this complaint.

I have filed a complaint with the police department and contacted an attorney.

There was something ill about the way she spoke, again, she never provided her name. She also told me to have the attorney contact them. When I inquired about settling, she came to life and said we can forward you documents. She never asked for my email address.

Correct, the message sounds scary.
