The company UniMans Labs (also known as Liborectin Male Enhancement Gummies) hides true pricing and signs users up for a monthly subscription without clear consent. My husband clicked on ad to receive a free trial of a supplement. According to the site (https://tryunimanslabs.com/bw), he just had to pay $6.95 in shipping and handling. After he confirmed the order, two additional products were added to the order without his consent, bringing the total to $33.95.

Due to the suspicious nature of the additional charges, I took a look at the website, and at the shopping cart pages and nothing indicated that more products would be added to the order. I clicked on the tiny "Terms and Conditions" link and the T&C also did not mention other products. But the BIG surprise was that the T&C specified that with the "free" trial they automatically sign you up for a monthly subscription and will start charging you $118.84/mo (plus add'l S+H) until you cancel. You can only cancel by calling customer service (except MasterCard holders are allowed to cancel via email). The order was initially placed on July 14, and on July 15, we called to cancel it and stop them from shipping. They would not cancel the initial product, as they said they had already shipped it. In addition, they said that they would have to pay an early cancellation fee of $33.95 (or if we waited another 3 to 4 weeks to call and cancel, they would not charge a fee). I pointed out that the T&C do not mention anything about an early cancellation, but the the rep was not willing to budge until I said that I had already reported their shady pricing practices to the FTC. When I said that, she said that she would waive the cancellation fee and no further charges would be made. I went ahead and cancelled the card that had been used, as I don't trust their word at all.

Desired outcome: This company needs to make its pricing upfront. They need to clearly state on the website and in the shopping cart that they are signing people up for a monthly subscription. They should not hide pricing in the Terms and Conditions.

OMG! Everything this poster just said AND MUCH MUCH MORE is ABSOLUTELY TRUE! This is one of the most ridiculous scams out there. I too paid the $6-7 dollar fee for a "free trial" with no mention of ANY thing more than the trial as they were SOOOO SURE that you would love their product that you would undoubtedly buy more. Well, regardless of how you feel about their product, they will continue to charge you for more and send it...thats their "scapegoat". They claim that "once it has been shipped, there is absolutely NO way to get your money back. Regardless of whether or not you opened the package or even received it at all. Not only that, the charges show up as a "Home Design/Decor" company out of Texas. It is for this reason and due to a recent move, I missed the charges completely. Oh, and it's 2 charges every month, not just one...and the charges skyrocket. I just got off a 45 min phone call with the number listed on the bank statement as this was the inoy way I could even find out who was charging me all these times. They have now charged me nearly SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS in less than 60 days! They will begin by saying they can only refund 10% of the recent charges and will "cancel your subscription" (that you never agreed to to begin with) and will only do so if you agree to pursue no further action in attempting to get your hard earned money back that they have robbed you ajd your family from. They will claim that they are only a "middle man" to the merchant and can inly do what the merchant allows. But, they are somehow able to talk to the merchant within 60-90 seconds ajd come back with another lowball offer of "25% refund" and the guarantee that you will not pursue anything any further. I FINALLY got them to agree to reimburse me for 100% of the most recent 2 charges after having to get ugly and threaten them and I still feel like I was completely played, scammed, and robbed as I am supposedly getting back $170 out of the $588 they have charged me in the last 60 days. They also charge you twice over the span of 24-48 hours each time...I'm guessing in hoped that the charges are more likely to go unnoticed. So in short, your $6.95 trial will end up being two super charges each month of $117.73 and $118.84. Not only I'd the product a complete joke, bit the company and those running it are complete scum and will rob the food right out of your kids mouths with a smile on their face while while doing so. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM "Unimans Labs" unless you order through Amazon (if possible) or just want to get robbed of your hard earned money.

Thank you for speaking out! I have only been charged for the first “trial” but am canceling my card today thanks to your warning!

Their website won’t open to try and cancel which was my first warning.

Do you have the number to contact them?
