I am the recipient of an Ultraframe Roofing System, installed in 2011 by Greenway Home Improvement Ltd, trading as Greenway.

Within months a double glazed roofing panel fell out of the roofing frame.

The roofing support trims were too short, which allowed drafts and water to enter the conservatory.

Some of the outer roofing glazing bars are sliding down the roofing glass. This in turn is allowing movement in the roofing glazing.

There is significant amount of discolouration in certain upvc roofing components, which gives the conservatory roofing system the appearance of a mis-matched use of materials.

I contacted the owner of Ultraframe, Brian Kennedy informing him of the problems with my Ultraframe Roofing System and the lack of technical support from Ultraframe staff (Mr Hanson, Mr Wallace and Mr Thomson MD of
Ultraframe).

Mr Morris Dentith, responded on Mr Kennedy’s behalf stating the following:-

“I will talk to the CEO of Ultraframe tomorrow and put together a report to pass to Mr Kennedy

I will obviously keep you updated ……..”

Ultraframe refuses to respond further. WHY?

I hope this is not happening to others?

I found them helpful with my issues. Contact them and they will help resolve issues with installers or technical problems: https://www.ultraframe-conservatories.co.uk

Contacted Ultraframe as suggested about an elderly couple that had a conservatory roof fitted in 2015 by Marton Windows. To date they have had water damaged twice and the house finally flooded to the incompetence of the builder whose roofer caused the flooding.
Ultraframe sent a Mr Paul Saltis to look at the roof and it was agreed a third party would repair the roof.
The Which? approved conservatory installer who visited stated the roof was unsafe and would have to come down.
Ultraframe at the time of writing have done nothing.
As Which? trusted traders why do they sell their products to people are clearly not competent to fit them then walk away when problems arise.
I would not recommend the use of this company.

My experience with UltraFrame was equally unsatisfactory. They recommended their distributor Polaris Vision. I paid a deposit of £4700 and notwithstanding solicitors letters, telephone calls, I have received nothing but unkept promises. Notwithstanding their recommendation Ultra frame have chosen to do nothing about the issue. I would not deal with either firm ever again.

I have the same problem with Ultraframe. Mine was built by the Home Improvement Company of Maidenhead.
There is obviously a problem with their ridge, which quickly loses colour and leaks. In my case the leak was onto the electrics, but that still did not interest anyone!
However, Ultraframe do not want to know about the problem saying that they only deal with their installer.
So if the installer does not do anything, and I have been chasing them for eighteen months, the Ultraframe guarantee is useless.
Ultraframe said they had never dealt with The Home Improvement Company despite Ultraframe issuing an Authenticity Certificate to me. Certificate No. 254438. Another worthless guarantee.
Finally I have a guarantee from IPWFI, Certicicate of Insurance No. 699868, but beware this only applies if the installer ceases trading. Another useless guarantee.
So who else has had the same problem with Ultraframe or The Home Improvement Company of Maidenhead?

Did you deal with Gareth Carroll and his brother Tony? They are being pursued by Trading Standards for fraud. I've had nonstop problems with stains and leaks.

Yes, we used their company The Extension Group, to replace our extension in 2020. Tony was supposed to finish off a few bits I.e missing end to one side of the box gutter, missing ends from the plinths below the box gutter, and replace the draught excluder in one of the bi-fold doors. Despite chasing both Tony and Gareth, nothing was done. We also have had leaks which Gareth has said could be the leaves backing up.
