This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I have joined Udemy, LLC this year as an Instructor because I saw it as a Gig opportunity. I have been unfairly treated by not resolving complaints in a timely manners, had my third course held for 5 weeks and labeled "Unpublished" with no clear explanation on why it was held. According to their policies, when an Instructor submits a course for review, it takes 1 to 2 days. They have had Instructors going through websites and browsing on courses on other Instructors to get ideas on how to fix theirs, which is a form stealing information. When they advertise courses for sale, the faces that they used in the screen page for selling courses are not diversive inclusive. They use faces of women, a man once from India, a White woman with Reddish brown hair, a Chinese woman with eyeglasses, and a Chinese man sitting with a Woman of mixed race looking at her IPad as having a discussion. I have never seem a black face on the screen page. I am guessing that Blacks are not suppose to be included? The last course that I uploaded, four lectures were accepted and the fifth lecture was blocked and labeled "unpublished" for 4.5 weeks and later on after the fifth lecture, was labeled for 1.5 weeks. Then they put a note "Fix it" without no explanation on what needs to be fixed to hinder me from participating in the Black Friday promotion. I have Bonus Lecture that I can't even upload and had another course that I was going to add to use for the promotion. I have been unfairly treated because of my race African American with a foreign last name, despite the fact that I have the qualifications for being an instructor. I was told that my course has to be up-to-date. My courses are up-to-date because I have done researched and found out what is up to date before I even created the courses on "Hard and Soft skills" from Beginners to Advanced level. In addition to this, I actually took the course less than a year ago. This is a course that I had taught all levels 8 years ago. I had to up-to-date materials because the Textbook that I had used was outdated. I contacted the Company earlier this year and they did not get back to me last month about an updated version.

I think this is deliberately being done to me as an act of discrimination. In addition to this, I had a student take my first Immediate Level course on different topic and I haven't been paid for it.
