on [protected] i had come home to a letter on my door saying i did not pay my rent. many times i have explained to several managers not to put notices like this on my home. However i did pay my rent.I went to the office and said what is this #### on my door.the manager Elaine yelled at me very loudly not to curse at her .so i told her donot speak to me and I would not speak to her and learn how to do her job .Find my rent money.when I came home I felt badly how things where left.I called her and apologized. she continued to be be rude on the phone and brushed me off. I have lived in this community since 1983 with no violations or late rent. on [protected] my child and i were playing basketball for about an hour. we left the hoop in front of the driveway not knowing if we were done playing for the day. she gave me a violation for having it out it was not even 5 pm .there was plenty of daylight for us to continue playing. I feel since our first incident that she is harrassing me and trying to make life hard for me. I prefer not to have any dealings with her in the future i do not find her professional at all.she is very rude and aggressive for no reason .I have spoken to other residents in the community and there dealings with her have not been very pleasant at all. Because you see a basketball net for the first time as you drive by a residence does not constitute the right to give someone a violation. I understand if it was seen for an excessive period of time it would be unruly for me to disrespect the rules and regulations of Twin Lakes Village. However, we are talking about a three hour time period. I feel I pay alot of money to live in this community and Im feeling Im being restricted playing with my child. This is a family community.People who are incarcerated can play basketball and I cant even play with my child in front of my own home. I have been an active member of the community. Even donated speed bumps where children with special needs lived so cars would slow down in that area. I help the elderly in the winter shoveling there driveways. In the summer I mow their lawns and for nothing in return. Im a valued member of this community and I feel Im being treated very unfairly for the initial incident I did go out of my way to correct with the manager Eileen.

Could not agree with you more the management here is rude very unfriendly very discrimatory and always say it's from corporate there excuse to tenants I have heard that corporate don't care about tenant rights it's all about the money was never told where my security deposit is at what bank we as tenants have the right to know where it's held and have a right to the interest drawn off it ny state law we are told who we can have in our house and who we can not have in our house ny attorney general law real law 233 states a tenant can have immediate family there children and one adult in there home people also have the right to have the money from there home if they been evicted for non payment of rent any thing twin lakes village sells the home for they are to take only the money owed for back rent and the legal fees all other money is to be sent to the previous owner of the home the violations are horrid example leaves if not picked up everyday it wAsnt even fall yet leaves just started dropping and a violation pops up on the door the managers always say it comes from corporate corporate never answers the phone are takes a complaint regional managers don't do a thing it's all about the money they will wind up with an empty community and word travels fast they for sure don't follow the fair housing act
