Take care of your dogs/pups. It sounds there is not much you can do but complain. - Not ENOUGH NEGLECT to take them down at this point?
You should keep an eye on the Brenda's Practices, Websites, etc. and if you see situations that need to be reported to AKC (if applicable), Humane Society, SPCA, Healthy Department, etc. - Then do so.
Put your dogs on Revolution - this might help with the coats. Give your dogs top line foods such as Wellness, Blue Buffalo, Red Barn. Red Barn has natural chews that will help with teeth tartar.
Get their teeth cleaned professionally if needed. They could die from this easily.

The picture of your pom - he does not look real bad? Is his skin black - that could be normal. The pom may not have been given proper flea medicine - then his hair fell out. Not saying he looks normal, but he will probably be ok eventually.
You can get him to looking better. And dogs go in circles some time because of anxiety. The pom looks very salvageable - he looks happy already. Just give him love and guidance - watch the dog whisperer if you can.

Link provided above. The vets know what they are doing with this food. Gluten is bad on the liver - especially for a small dog. Soy acts like a hormone.
Just go to the above link and read it. It was the first one that came up when I googled Science Diet - much info out there about it.
There is only one Good Science Diet - the one for dogs with Renal/Kidney problems. The rest of the food is not good. The vets know this - creates a cycle, therefore, more money out of your pocket.
The breeder needs to do the same. She/He is obviously not aware of this situation.
This dog food could be the reason the Breeder is having problems. Please pass this info to the breeder.
If all above is true; which believe could be %100 true - but being that I have never seen this breeder - Than YES have her shut down.
Will have to go further than AKC - very easy to around AKC regulations. They can simply put the dogs in another person's name.
You will have to go full force against them. You will have to keep it up too; Do NOT just start going after them and then drop the ball.
Any way, if the above statement is true - Please stop these breeders.

If the breeder is indeed a reputable breeder, wouldn't you post photos of where your puppies are, and in what conditions, and the parents, and then people who have actually been to where you have your "business" can say if that is actually what they have seen..

Brenda I forgot to mention that anyone that has ever dealt with Rick and Gina Alford knows without a doubt that it is Gina Alford herself writing that complaint. Gina went on complaint boards about us with her lies and found out very quickly that NO reputable breeder will buy from Gina Alford and I have proof that most if not all won't even sell anything to her. Gina Alford has been doing the same thing over and owner again for years, now she is advertising puppies again! Please contact me as I have lots of information about lil Darlin Pomeranians and would be happy to share it with you. Don't let her scare tactics stop you she does this to everyone

I too have dealt and been scammed by Rick and Gina Alford If it was Rick and Gina Alford that gave you the bad recommendation then I certainly wouldn't worry it about it. the reputable Pomeranian breeders know all about them and I can send you tons of proof about that. My name is Brenda Hill, I own Tweetys Pomeranians.I have had a bad review online that states i starve and abuse my Poms.I have never mistreated or abused any animal, regardless if it was a stray or one i own.
I have always gone above and beyond with trying to please people that have purchased a pom from me and can supply reference to this statement.
The people in question bought two Pomerania's from me.They wanted to see three boys i had for sale.Stormy, Foxfire, Smokey.The normal for me is to have the pups vet checked before they leave, but i had been very sick, and when i did feel well enough to meet them
it was on a Saturday, It's very hard to see your vet on a moments notice without it being an emergency.I talked to her on the phone, she said she understood and it would not be necessary to have them vet checked, That they really wanted to pick the dogs up that weekend..That they lived in AL.close enough to meet us.They wanted to meet us at a Hardiest restraint in Gurley Al.
All three pups had been groomed, I carried a pen, with a mat to protect them from the ground elements.They were put in the pen and let run around so they could be seen well.The couple in question picked the pups up and handled them and played with them for over an hour.They saw them in real life, not buying from a photo, I had the proper AKC Reg. papers.I don't know how anyone can say i sold them the wrong dog.I had no deposit on them so there was no reason for them to take the pups if as they said they were under weight and bad coats.They said that they owned poms themselves and needed the males for breeders.I told her that the pups had never been used for breeding.You would think a person that own poms already would not have bought dogs with, rotten teeth, starved to death an bald. as stated in their report.
She sent a vet report from a vet in Ardmore Al..I called the vet an talked to him.I ask some questions.One of the pups she had check she gave them the name Remy.He also told that the paper work said they were mixed breeds.before i could find out any more, He ask why i wanted to know and i explained what had happened about the report that she had made public on the web.He wouldn't say any more .I guess he was afraid of being in the middle of a lawsuit.Once you have a report and scan it into your pc.you can alter it to say whatever you want.when you print it out it looks to be the real thing.This is what i think happened.
The vet office they took the pups to was in Harvest AL..The vet had never seen them before this was the only visit.The reason i broke contact with these people, I got a letter from Gina Alford, Lil Darlin's Pomeranians, That this lady was very upset that i sold her the wrong dog.Gina Alford also stated that the lady who i know as Carol Gressett had a collage degree in photography.So i guess if she can alter photos she can also alter medical documents as well .The people i know as Ray and Caro Lynn Gressett had filthy carrier to pup the pups in I picked the cleanest dirty carrier of the two to put them in.The other one looked like it had been used to change oil in, It was very black and greasy.
I have learned a valuable lesson from dealing with this couple.I will never let another Pom leave my possession with out having a vet check and having a record of the condition of a puppy or adult i sell.Regardless of how desperate or in a hurry they are to get the dog.My mistake of trusting my fellow man has opened my eyes as to the crooks and swindlers that are Constance predators of people like myself and other honest breeders.Be aware they are there, just waiting for their chance.
I have never had complaint on me or my babies i sell. I have always treated my clients well as i will continue to do.So please be patient with me if i refused to let a puppy or adult go without a vet check.If you should need references, I will be glad to give them to you.I have been AKC checked several times with no issues.I do not hide my dogs from AKC when they come.
I will leave the name given to me by the people that accused me of selling them bad dogs.If anyone is approached by them to buy a dog beware of what you maybe getting into. PS If anyone has a rencent photo of Gina Alford from MS. Lil Darlin Pomeranians i would like to have one.also a photo of her husband. I am attaching a photo of the dogs i sent to the people in question, they have not been groomed in the photos.

It may be a little late to reply to this however I have to say that complaining about a 5lb Pomeranian is like complaining about a 110lb competition cheerleader. 5lbs is well within breed standard according to the AKC. If you weren't happy with the dogs you didn't have to continue signing the contracts nor did you have to open your wallet. The dogs are there when you get the paperwork. You can still back out. Obviously you were happy with the animals until god knows what changed your mind? Maybe your wife ### you out for spending $1500 on dogs without asking her? Who knows? Point is, you signed papers saying yes you wanted them. Then you want to kick up a fuss online about not being happy with what you just bought? That to me just seems completely ###ing stupid. I wouldn't spend $800-$1000 on a dog I wasn't 100% sure about. . I'm not sure who your vet but I would highly recommend reading this http://www.akc.org/breeds/pomeranian/ and perhaps even having your vet read it. If you have questions about any breeder's practices you can always contact the AKC and make reports as well as find out if they are AKC compliant. Maybe next time your buying experience will be better if you do more research about what you are buying. I visited Brenda a few days ago and I find myself in agreement with a previous poster about the chubby little dogs. After spending a little time with them I'm looking forward to buying a pup from her. I'm sorry to say I find the OP's complaint baseless. I would highly recommend these animals to anyone.
I HAVE BEEN TO BRENDA HILL'S HOUSE BACK IN [protected], IF THAT IS WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL IT, IT IS A SHACK WITH A JUNKYARD AROUND IT. THE DOGS ARE NOT PROPERLY TAKEN CARE OF AT ALL. I HAD WENT TO MEET A BREEDER FRIEND OF MINE AND BOUGHT A FEAMLE FROM HIM ON MY WAY BACK I STOPPED IN AT BRENDA'S HOUSE, SHE HAS MORE THAN A 100 DOGS, THIS IS A PUPPYMILL FOR SURE, I DID NOT BUY ANYTHING AT ALL AND I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BREEDER. SHE DOES NOT HAVE A KENNEL SHE HAS MADE UP FENCES JUST THROWED TOGETHER TO SEPARTAE THE DOGS, THEY DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING BUT THE DIRT, NO GRAVEL OR CONCRET, NO KENNEL TO GO IN OUT OF THE SUN, JUST OLD DOG HOUSES, TO SLEEP IN. LOOKS MORE LIKE A RAT MAZE THAN ANYTHING, SO IF YOU BEEN TO THIS BREEDER'S HOUSE, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT SHE TAKES CARE OF HER DOGS, YOU ARE ALSO A LIER WHEN YOU SAID SHE DOES NOT HAVE CKC DOGS BECAUSE SHE OFFERED TO SELL ME ONE OF HER CKC DOGS, SHE WAS TRYING TO GET RID OF ALL OF HER CKC'S DOGS AND GO ALL AKC. I THINK THE REASON YOUR DOGS ARE OUT OF COAT AND SO BAD LOOKING IS THAT THEY DID NOT GET THE PROPER CARE, BUT IT COULD BE THAT THEY ARE INTERBREED ALSO, SHE COULD NOT POSSIABLE TAKE CARE OF WHAT SHE GOT AND KNOW WHO THE MOM AND DAD OF THESE DOGS WERE. MAYBE IF THEY QUIT BUYING EXPENSIVE CARS LIKE CADILLACS AND QUIT TRYING TO ACT LIKE A BIG SHOTS WHEN THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE A PROPER HOUSE TO LIVE IN AND SPEND SOME OF THE MONEY ON THE DOGS AND A NEW HOUSE, MAYBE THEY WOULD DO ALOT BETTER FOR THEMSELVES. I HALF TO AGREE WITH THE PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT THE DOGS, GIVE THEM ALOT OF TENDER LOVING CARE AND WORK WITH THEM AND GIVE THEM ALOT OF TIME TO ADJUST TO THEIR NEW HOME AND THEY SHOULD BE OK. SOMETIMES IT JUST TAKES TIME TO ADJUST A DOG TO A GOOD PLACE WITH LOVE AND ALOT OF ATTENTION. MAYBE SOMEDAY THE PROPER AUTHERIES WILL SHUT DOWN PEOPLE LIKE BRENDA HILL AND OTHER BREEDER'S LIKE HER. I HOPE THE BREEDER'S YOU ARE DEALING WITH ARE BETTER THAN THIS ONE, JUST BE CAREFUL WHO YOU BUY FROM NEXT TIME AND DO SOME RESEARCH, ALWAYS GOTHE BREEDER'S HOUSE. IF YOU WENT TO HER HOUSE INSTEAD OF MEETING THEM MAYBE YOU WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN RIPPEDOFF BY HER, YOU COULD HAVE SEEN FOR YOURSELF HOW THE DOGS LIVED AND I BET YOU WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT ANYTHING FROM HER IF YOU SEEN WHERE YOUR DOGS CAME FROM, BECAUSE I KNOW I DID NOT BUY NOTHING, AND I WILL TELL YOU SOMETHING ELSE, I NEVER WILL BUY ANYTHING OFF OF BREND HILL.
I personally know Brenda and Jim Hill and have been to their home on several occasions. Her breeding practices are 100% as well as her care of her dogs. I have seen her drop thousands of dollars at the tip of a hat on tests just to make sure one is healthy. I have seen her take back dogs when she didn't have to and refund people's money just because she wants to do the right thing. She has contracts, health guarantees, has been inspected by AKC several times and passed with flying colors and is an honest, reputable person. She doesn't use CKC or any of those other fake registries. Her dogs are always little chubsters that need to LOOSE weight, not gain. Every dog has monthly flea treatment, heart worm treatment and are groomed regularly. She feeds Science Diet and gives them vitamins daily. They always have clean water and enviroments. The dog in the above picture looks like it was wet, which will obviously make it look bad. It also looks as though it is going through the usual "puppy uglies" which every Pom goes through (and any knowledgeable breeder would know about). Another thing, how do you know they can't breed? If the dogs are in such "horrible condition" why would you try to breed them? That makes YOU an irresponsible backyard breeder to try to use an inferior animal. You got a problem with the dog, take it to a vet and she would gladly fix the problem. And bait and switch is also when you pretend to be someone else to buy a dog. Just so you know. If you are doubtful of her breeding practices let me know and I will go to her home, take photos and send them to you. Thank you.
