I am writting to warn people abotu this prepaid Visa service its actually better just to go to your bank and ask for a secured visa, this card is fulls of hassels the company as policies in place to hold your money for 15 days, you cannot reach them by phone, you cannot excalate issues, they will not help you resolve problems, you just have to wait untill they say so, a better option would be to get a capital one prepaid card it can be used anywere,
the titanium visa card cannot be used on Goverment website.

here is what they have wrote me when i ask to get my issue resolved

Message your responce is wrong because i got the email for CIC and we have used another visa to pay them. they are not holding the money you are. and trust me after this i am sure cancelling this card

Message Dear Simon Duval,

Thank you for contacting Customer Service. We are not denying that we, as your credit card company, are holding the funds. What was stated to you previously was that CIC requested the funds for the transaction. We received that request and have approved the transaction for them to collect. We have not received any notice from them that they are not able to complete the payment so the funds are still being held for them to collect. If they have not settled the transaction by midnight between the 14th and 15th day the funds will be automatically returned to your account at that time.

As well, we are not denying that it is possible to use a Visa to make a payment to the GOV agency . It has been our experience that it is extremely difficult for a payment to be made successfully to the GOV agency ; either they do not except a prepaid card, or our prepaid card, or they have an extremely particular address verification system.

In any case we are extremely sorry for the difficulties you have experienced using your Titanium Visa. As mentioned previously we are bound by our bank's policies in regard to hold times for authorizations as a means of protecting you as our customer. We sincerely hope that in the future you experience no further difficulties. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

I have contacted The gov agency and they are not holding the funds

The issue you mentioned in your email is indeed the result of a periodic technical problem. The department in charge of online payments is currently making all the necessary efforts to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Furthermore, if the cardholder information entered at the time of the payment does not correspond exactly to the information held by their financial institution, the transaction may not be completed correctly and may appear as failed or refused. When the information does not match, the financial institution may hold the amount of the transaction for a few days before releasing it. Delays may vary depending on the financial institution.

This is a standard process at financial institutions for which the GOV has no control over. Financial institutions are aware that we will not cash a frozen amount if the transaction was not completed correctly. Please contact your financial institution if you have any questions or concerns.

this IS A JOKE I HAVE LEARNED A LESSON UNLESS IT IS A SECURED VISA DO NOT USED PREPAID CARD TO DO ANY GOV TRANSACTIONS.

I HOPE PEOPLE WILL THINK TWICE ABOUT TITANIUM VISA IT LOOKS SO INTREAGING AT FIRST BUT GO TO YOUR BANL INSTITUTE ASK FOR A SECURE VISA AND ALL YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED AND YOU WILL NEVER RUN INTO THE ISSUE I RAN INTO WITH THIS TITANIUM VISA COMPANY

VISA TITANIUM IS CRAP I totally agree with you . visa Titanium plus card is a total rip off . i got my card on the 20th oct 2011 and charged me 20 dollars to activate the card and on the 26 oct 2011 visa charged me another 15 dollars monthly fee.Thats 35dollars in 5 days. I will do every thing in my power to inform the public not to use visa titanium+.
Thay charge you lots of frigen fees with your own money.

THIS IS NOT A CREDIT CARD, ITS PRE-PAYED! why all the fees?

I really hate the Titanium+Visa card. I don't normal use this card as much as I use in other cards that I have. so I forgot my PIN and my password... I had call the [protected] for unlock it for the past 3 days! However, nobody pick up the call at all! And I spend over 20mins each day to hold the call and wait for somebody to help me. Still no response from them! What's the point for them to have Customer Service when the not even pick up the phone!

I had try to reset my password in their webside and the end of the last part, it told me that it'll sant my password to my email (I had make sure that it's Correct before I click ok)... I had tried for six time and still no email from Titanium visa customer service yet!

Personally, this is the worse customer service ever that I see in my life! Coz other companies at lease they they pick up phone and really be there when customer need help... Now, I just giving up and wait for them to charge my money from that account all...

if they still don't prove their service soon! They're gonna lost a lot of there customers. Especially, in now today with this kind of businesses growth! And I really sure that they already lost one!

I had a charge that I had not approved and they paid that out within 12 hours.I have had nothing but trouble getting through to customer service.It always takes at least 30 mins.I had them send me a new password and when they did their rules on passwords were so ridiculous I got frustrated and did something else.When I returned in one hour they said the session had expired and the password didn't work anymore.Now that's another 30 mins on the phone.They have the worst customer service on the planet.If you contest a charge they make you fill out a 3 page form and demand a police report.What kind of ### is that?I called to cancel the charge within 12 hours and they had already paid it out.What's this 15 day stuff?They always pay out too fast.Money Mart is a rip off and is strictly for people with no credit and no bank account.If you can get another card why would you ever take one of these?It's supposed to help rebuild your credit.It doesn't.

THIS CARD THROUGH MONEY MART IS NOTHING BUT A RIP OFF, I WASN'T TOLD ABOUT MONTHLY FEE'S, I PAID $20 + TAXES, THEN 5 DAY'S LATER I HAD TO PAY A MONTHLY FEE PLUS TO ACTIVATE MY CARD IS ANOTHER $1.50.I'M CANCELING THIS CARD AS SOON AS A TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE, MONEY MART WILL NEVER SEE ME EVER AGAIN, THEY SHOULD CHANGE THERE NAME TO MONEY RIP OFF MART.

Well i thought i could call customer service up and fix my problems with this card. But no i don`t seem to be getting anywhere. I also forgot my name and password. they sent me a new password but did not tell me my user name. Now i can type till i am blue in the face but i won`t get anywhere.I at the end of my rope with this company.They won't tell me how to update only say insufficient funds.Don`t no what to do the customer service sucks.rob-er-re@hotmail.com

The shoppingchannel and other online shopping will not accept the Visa Titanium card an longer!
The response was ( every time we try to do it the payment gets rejected.) I now use PayPal through Rodgers..

I love titanium I've been using it for months now and it's awesome! I use it for bill payments, online shopping, in malls restaurants I use it everywhere. I payed my $20 start up fee and now only $15 a month for unlimited monthly transactions! Also get all my transactions and daily balance sent to my phone for free it's very convenient! Not only that but there's an iPhone app that tells you your balance and past transactions and much more information (which is password protected of course) all in all I love using my titanium visa from money mart! (: one satisfied customer over here. My one and only complaint would be that they don't deal with my bank (scotiabank) for online deposits other than that, great service and everything!

anyone else notice that after you pay the $2.50 loading fee, the charge you it again later on without telling you..
not to mention that half of the sites online won't even accept the cards.

these pre paid card companies are greasier than sally struthers' vag after trying to feed it a whopper.

I'm totally done with them as well.

Get a real credit card with no fees.

the only good reason to have one of these cards is if you're someone like rob ford and your trying to hide your crack expenses from the finance minister.

wait nm crack dealers don't take cards

I got mine at money mart in brockville. I've had no problems at all. I ran into a snag registering it online. I hit the live help button and within 3 min had a clear and concise individual help me rectify my problem.

I have been using my titanium visa now for the better part of a year for my online purchases for my home based business and for the day to day mundane purchases at my local stores. I have never had problem. All fees and payments were outlined in the papers I got from money mart when I bought and activated my card. The two issues i had that popped up were taken care of quickly by customer service. I have experienced a hold but it was removed in 6 days as promised. Also I load only at the money mart as online transfers cost $1.50. I find this card to be an excellent alternative to carrying large sums of money.
