The Greatest Vitamin In The World

How find out is by a friend that wanted to view it and said it was not up. It was up in running about last month some time. So I tried to pull it up and I get noting. So I am wondering what's going on here. I been with them for a long time aprox. 3years. I put in money to this company not much. But a nuff! Because I'm not rich to be investing a lot of money in to a company. But I did invest a little. Anyway. Some how I got to [redacted] and I see how many people file on this Company. So I start calling all numbers that I have for this Company and most number are shut down and some are just busy numbers.

However, I did request for payment that I did sell and that was $70.00 dollars worth of product. And I got no respond, I request it on my Web site. Also email them about it on my Web site Backoffice.

Here are some off the Number I have for this Company.

On Nov.15, 2006 I was charged $516.85 on my M/C for materials on the above company., Nov. 16, 300.00 more for web site and names. The end of Dec. I could not make this work, and returned all the materials to them, return receipt requested which they signed for as receiving on 1/22/2007, filled out a form requesting a refund. I received a letter acknowledging receipt of same, stating the credit should be shown on my next or following statement. Here it is, June, 2007, 5 statements, 18 phone calls later, no credit. Mr. Cameron Kelly, is the person that I have talked to a few times, guaranteeing me that a rush has been put on my credit on May, 15th. He has not returned my last 6 calls. On June 21st, I talked to Casey who told me that Mr. Kelly, issued another request to the billing department on my behalf on June 14th. I still have not received my credit of $777.95 to which, according to Mr. Kelly is the amount I have coming. I again left a message for Mr Kelly, today 6/25/2007 request a credit or taking legal action.

Back in April 2,2007 I sent in a termination of Service Agreement to cancel a advertisement program. They instructed me what to do and they sent me a letter stating my refund is in process. They said it will take 2 billing cycles to do this, It has been the 2 billing cycles still no refund I then spoke to the supervisor of customer service Steven Shears 2 weeks ago he stated I should have been received this by now If I didn't receive the refund in 7 to 10 days he will go to accounting and see whats the problem. Its been over the time and I kept telling him I was going to put in a complaint he stated he didn't want that to happen. I keep calling and he wont return my calls It 3 months now and I want my money that due to me.

I paid over $500 for a home business. They said that I would become part of their company and live richly. They said they would give me a website for people to buy vitamins off of me and I would make the money. I still have the letters that verify me to this fraud business. I need to get my money back and I would like to know how this scam got across. I see many other people have had the same problem with this company. I was informed of this business through a T.V. info commercial thats was sponcered by Don Lapre. I never got the website going because whenever I asked for the website, they asked for more money. However I was not going to give them more until I got what I already paid for and was promised. I am ready to participate if needed. I will not stand for being violated and taken advantage of.

Thank you for your time.

I responded to an e-mail about "The greatest Vitamin " and ordered the vitamins. I decided to become a sales person. Mike Ashbury called about a $1,600 program to get people to my website. He said there was a 60 day money back gurantee. I have to get my money back as my husband and I live on social security. I am 70 and he is 72. I have called them and wrote a letter on 12-29-06. They say I will get my refund but I never do. Its been 6 months or over now. I have not made one dime.

Thank you. Marion Thornton

In 2004, I invested approximately $1200.00 in a business selling vitamins--Don Lapre's product called The Greatest Vitamin In The World, commercials in places I had no ability to know whether my commercials were EVER on the air, and my website for the product. I never made any money, and feel that Don Lapre's business plan is extremely misleading, at the very least. Please tell me the name of any company who is helping former "victim's" of this organization get their money back, as I would like to pay them, or write them about helping me get my money back.

The Greatest Vitamins in the World is a company that ensures the consumer that if you purchase their services you will be able to make money by selling the "Greatest Vitamins" in the world through a website that they will design for you. They reel you in my promising that if you purchases their services for a low fee of $9.95 for a website, you will be able to sell vitamins and other health products. Then the salesperson calls and convinces you that if you purchase the $1800.00 that they will send customers to your website and place 13 paying customers to your website. They explain that this will be your own business where you can become wealthy over time. They explain that "scared money don't make money." The next day another person called and stated that if you pay $1985.00 then you will not have to do anything further. We will gurantee that you will receive the Platinum Program. We will contact people through the mail to come to your website, you will receive $100.00 Bonus Checks for everyone who joins your website and becomes an Independent Advertiser, you will receive 17% Advertiser Commission and a Lifetime Revenue Plus Program (every time someone buys vitamins from your website, you will get $10.00). The only thing that I have gotten is broke.

I am hoping that someone can help me to get my money returned. I called the company that they have placed me on hold for extended periods to up to 55 minutes. When they answer the telephone, they send me from one person to another. Representatives from the Greatest Vitamins in the World stated that I waited one week too long to cancel their services. This is not true. I have all of my contact dates and information. I tried getting my credit card company to reverse the charges with the company (Suntrust Credit Cards)...they refused to do so. I tried to get Citi Credti Cards to reverse charges... They have not done so. Finally, the company representatives stated that they would try to work with me to set up a website or refund a portion of the money. Done of these things have happened.

Purity Products accepted my husband's credit card from me to order a vitamin over the phone but when I called to cancel any future shipments a "Marie" told me that I could not cancel because it was not my credit card. For them it is okay to place the order with a credit card that does not have your name on it but come cancellation time and they suddenly utilize "security" tactics.
The conversation lasted about 10 minutes as I tried insisting and assuring her that we would not accept any more orders. She simply repeated for the 10 minutes that on Dec. 15th they would ship the next order. My husband drives and is on the road for 14 hours a day and I ussually deal with all similar issues to spare him this nonsense.
This company seems to be run by ruthless people lacking ethics and courtesy. As your run in with the scam that you mentioned.
We must tread carefully watching out for the many scams out there.
