Tcr has been harassing me for MONTHS! They call numerous times per day(sometimes 10-12) stating that I owe money to a company. To this day, I have no idea who I owe money to, the amount or any information at all.
They kept leaving messages with a pre recorded voice. The name of the person on the recording was"Laurie degerionemo "(sp).I called them back quite a few times and every time I called they tried to gather all kinds of personal information without telling me the nature of their call.I told them I wasn't giving them any information over the phone(hence them calling me from a private number) I was very suspicious.
I even asked to speak to the General manager"Laurie Degerionemo" and of course, she was "conveniently" out of the office.

These people have broken Canadian collection laws by not stating who I owe the money to or the amount.
They also have broken another law...HARASSMENT.Legit collection agencies(most of them anyway) DO NOT call 12 times per day.I've dealt with collection agencies in the past, and none of them operate as "shady" as TCR.

If they are legit, they really need to make some changes to the way they handle their business. At this rate, they must not be collecting many payments, operating the way they do.NOBODY in this day and age is going to give personal information to a random person calling from a private number.

Don't even bother dealing with these people.I highly suggest you tell them to take you to court. For some reason I have a good feeling you'll probably never end up there anyway.

SCREW YOU TCR.

Tcr calls and calls and asks me when i answer to confirm my birthdate etc. first of if the can get that information on recording they can use it for other things and when calling companies and just edit the recording bc it has your voice.
Second the guy that called me( andrew as well) said dont worry little girl i know more about you than you know about yourself. I cant belive a comoany that i had a debt with would use such a company to retrieve their funds. Even if at the time i had money issues it doesnt give them the right to make me feel threathed or harrassed to make me pay. Plus who would call people and bully them into make payments. I felt i was gettig held up and theres no gun! People should be aware that these people dont make it easier to retrieve payments and also should value that people can run into a life hurdle that makes it difficult to pay a debt. Sometimes people lose their job or get sick with an illness that prevents them to work and there should be a way that doesnt include insurance. I owed money to capitol one bc i got laid off and had insurance with the card if some of this would happen and they wouldnt process my claim untill i paid! How can i pay if i dont have it and i paid 3 years for this insurance for that incase it happen.. Tcr is the worst agency and companies shouldcome up with a solution to have it in house and deliver the same customer service that they have when your buying a product

I have an issue with them as well as they keep calling my friend who is a senior, 78, yelling at her about a debt and looking for someone that doesn't have anything to do with her. Its really hard to get anyone to call back or figure out how to stop the harrassment. This poor lady is beside herself with worry and she doesn't even owe them anything. I have no idea how I am going to stop this.

I'm having issues with them as well.

They have sent me a letter stating I owned money to a company. I agreed to pay. I called and left a message to Yves Bounadere at TCR telling him I was mailing the payment the very next day (Tuesday), which I did. On Friday morning, he left a message at my house stating he had not received the payment. I have left him 2 more messages in his voice mail and 1 message at the general reception since then, asking if my payment had been received or, if lost in transit, if I could send another one while requesting that they tore up the first payment should it eventually show up.

Nobody is calling me back. I have since tried again and always get Y. Boundère's voice mail, the man is never in his office.

I'm getting quite frustrated as I would like to settle this debt asap.
