Hello,

Today I had a appointment at the Superstore in Midland for a Covid vacinne at 11 am. I came in at 10:40 looking to see where to go. I only got into the front of the store in the produce department where I fell on tomatoes that had been on the floor and smashed previously. I went down quite fast before I realized what happened. I took a bit to get up with NO help from anybody around including staff. Once I got up which took a few min. as I went down hard on my right knee, I went to a clerk in the produce department to explain what happened & that it should be cleaned up before anybody else fell on it. I then went to the bathroom to clean my knee. When I came out the produce clerk had not left were she was, floor had not been touched or no hazard cone put up.

I then made my way to the pharmacy for my appointment at 11 for my Covid shot. Once signed in I took another look & the floor had still not been attended too or a hazard cone put down. I told the clerk at the flower nook beside the pharmacy what had happened & she went right away to clean it . I then went & sat outside the waiting room for the Covid shot. The flower clerk came to me & advised that she had cleaned it up as the employee in charge of that was not in until 11 am. She advised she did tell Jason who I think she said is the manager & that if I wanted to report it once I checked out I could ask for him & at this point I was called in for my shot.

I have a few issues with how this was dealt with. First the produce clerk could have cared less, not once asking if I was ok. There is definatly some customer service training lacking in cases like this.

Also I fell in YOUR store, its not up to me to seek out the manager once he has been informed. It most definalty is not the customers responsibility to look for a solution to this, he could have come to the pharmacy were I was sitting waiting for my covid booster as the flower clerk had no problem finding me again. I was too flustered and in a bit of pain & just wanted to get out of the store from the frustrating experience. Once I got home & as the day has gone on my knee is still swelling so I felt this should be documented. I have never had this happen to me so I didn't know what to do & again in hindsight why would I, the store should have been able to handle this.

Desired outcome: I would like this incident documented as my knee has become quite swollen.
