In April 2022 a man came to my door telling me he was there to see how my solar system was doing. He asked me how much I paid to SDGE per month. I told him anywhere from 0 to $150.00, depending on what time of year it was, etc. He said he could help me, all under warranty, (On a system I paid cash for in 2014). He sent a man out to measure and determine what I needed. I told the man I didn't understand how he would be paid, since I had not signed anything, or agreed to anything. He told me not to worry, he would get paid!
So a crew of workers came and added panels, replaced panels, all assuring me it was covered. I kept asking them for business cards, no one seemed to have one until one of the workmen said he had a "door-hanger" he would give me, (A thing they hang on your door, if they come to your home, and you aren't there.) The door-hanger had a phone # and a Customer support email address.
So that is the only piece of paper I have, I wrote the original salesman's name and number on it and the date of installation, (4/20/2022)
Flash forward to September, 2022. I received a letter from Sunrun advising me that I was "currently over 60 days past due... etc." There was a phone number at the bottom, so I immediately called them. I told them I had never heard of Sunrun, and I had no knowledge of what they were referring to. The operator said something to the effect, "Oh, thats strange, I'm going to have to check on that.
So day before yesterday, (10/24/2022), I receive a second letter advising me that I am now 90 days past due. and if it becomes more that 120 days past due, they will turn it over to a collection agency, which may"adversely effect"(I think they meant to say"affect"), my credit score."
I called them again, I asked them to send me a copy of the agreement they referred to in the letters. They immdiately emailed me an unsigned copy of the agreement, (32 pages long), which indicates, according to the agreement, I should be making monthly payments of $156.00 for 300 months, (25 years).
I then called them back, again, and asked them to send me a signed copy of the agreement via the USPO.
I have never signed an agreement, nor received a copy of the agreement which I never signed.

Desired outcome: I would like them to go after their salesman, not me!
