I found this site as I wanted to make a complaint about Telemarketing Power, I have not used the other companies mentioned. Telemarketing Power talk a great talk, but the foot soldiers who do the work are not as compliant as you are led to believe.

The Brendan Ritson (ex police guy) I used a simlar company in the US and found the guy to be threatening to me and my family (when I was not happy with the result) if you do a ASIC search you will find that he has had a few failed businesses, the last one he liquidated a few months ago. I have found a company that are great for chasing any monies outstanding beazley@beazleyingleton.com.au I was happy with the result.

The last post about recruiting and training the staff your self, well, good luck, but that is not practical for all of us.

Our company used a couple of companies that we found from the internet (none of the above companies mentioned) both of them were very poor.
We looked at the debt collection company mention Dynamic, however, after reading about the owners we felt uncomfortable. Yes, this company is a scam. I was dealing with Australian Telemarketing Pty Limited (www.australiantelemarketing.com.au). They actually did a little bit of work, phoning companies (or maybe they just used the web) to get contact details of selected people but now they have just run.
My contact was Joseph Evans ("Senior Account Manager") and the so-called researcher was Leanne Stafford. I managed to get Joseph's mobile number (he called me on it when I made first contact) it is [protected]. As of last week nobody from the company has returned my calls. The only number on their website is [protected], which is a call-forwarding service run by '3messaging' (run by the 3/Vodafone company).
Today, Leanne Stafford emailed me to say she had only just got my email and Joseph Evans was on paternity leave. I emailed straight back and asked her to call me. Nothing. All crap.
The invoice for the $2000 I paid has an address of Level 2, Suite 15, 103 George Street, Parramatta. It also has another phone number [protected], which has an answerphone message by a "Lisa" at "Telemarketing Solutions". It was searching for that company that brought up this complaints board.
I work for a fairly big company and have many years marketing experience. On hindsight, all I'd say is that the proposal Jospeph sent me was (and I told him so) the most badly-written, badly presented document I'd ever seen. I told him that had I not spoken to him at quite some length (and he clearly had telemarketing experience) I would not have gone near his company.
If you Google all the names on the Australian Telemarketing website (Laura Williams, etc), none of them come up. All the bios and photos (including "Wendy" and her 50th birthday photo) are clearly all rubbish.
Earlier this week, the website was down for a day.
How do we get these telemarketing scammers closed down?
I have to say I was also disgusted at the 3messaging call forwarding service who refused to identify who they were or to put me through to company managers so I could tell them they were acting for scammers. I've since done that.

I was driving my car near the city when I was pulled over by two policeman. The one that came to the car was Constable Brendan Ritson. I am female and I was on my own. He starting making comments about what I was wearing and looking me up and down. I asked him what I did wrong. He replied that I was driving too fast. I told him I was in a hurrry, in a polite way and he starting yelling at me callling me a "snobby ###". I was so scared and kept hoping the other police oficer would notice his anger - he was too far away. He said "### like me shouldnt be driving because we are too dumb" and that woman shouldnt drive full stop. Then he grinned at me in the most awful, almost evil way. I will never forget that smirk.Anyway the good news is I didnt get a ticket. I considered reporting him but at the time I had just moved out from my parents house and didnt feel the confidence to do it. I'm older now and if anyone has his home address I will glady go there and tell his wirfe or girlfriend or mother the way he treated me. Stay strong guys xxxxxx

Hey guys n gals. I do appreciate your comments as honest ones and totally agree with the bit about gays and Ritson picking on them. I am not gay but do respect gays as in the norm they are beautiful hard working honest people. However he is just a bully boy with no manners and I bet he tries this crap on straights too...it's not a gay hating person...it's just a pig of a person! HIs motivation is money...hence the debt collection business set up by his partner in crime and because his bully boy tactics might have worked when he carried a badge, they wont work too well in the corporate world for too long but he does not know that.

Maybe he thinks he is too too smart and is the only person in the world who can track people down to their home addresses. Guess what he is wrong.

I will be going to the police tomorrow in regards to an incedent I had with Brendan Ritson, I am scared because I know what he is capable of but enough is enough. I also found out today he has recently been harrasing a women via email and phone. Apparantly she is also going to the police tomorrow. I think there is strength in numbers guys. There is also a facebook, twitter and phone campaign that will should go viral, it will have stories of Brendan Ritson from many people who have been targetted by him. Is he married? If so we should inform his` family ofwhat he has been doing, the women he has been harrasing has now been scared to death and is seeing a doctor. The target of the campaign will also include any businesses he is connected to. TOGETHER WE CAN PUT BRENDAN RITSON IN JAIL. They love ex policeman in there :)

I too had a experience with brendan ritson, by the way im not in the slightest surprised to see the ex corrupt cop now is a coleections agent. I remember him from my surry hills days, where he would bully and humiliate all the gays and lesbians with his taunts and jokes. Oh no, this company also took $1336 upfront from our company, The telemarketer didn't turn up for work on the first day because "he took an extra holiday".He didn't turn up for work again the next day because his 'son was rushed to hospital"

We were paying a whole sales team to sit around and wait for their appointments to be booked. I wrote an email saying this wasn't good enough.

Chris emails me back blaming me for not being sympathetic re the supposed sick child.

Chris then tells me he doesn't want to do business with me and he never repays my money. I'm only on this website to find out if they are still in business as my Solicitor is about to file a Letter of Demand and a Statement of Claim against them.

Strategic Telemarketing Sydney headed up by the silver tongue salesman Joe Wright and company director Justin Marc? If so think twice before your part with any money. A Gold Coast Solar company Solarution has just been stung by Strategic Telemarketing for $5164.50 this was a fee charged for solar lead generation at $50 per hour on the promise of 2 qualified leads per hour. The company has provided six dud leads in just over 2 weeks.

Director of Solarution Nick Ray contacted Michael from Strategic Telemarketing to discuss his concerns about lack of leads and lead quality and his response was that we needed to be more patient. Essentially ignoring the original representation which induced the contract.

Nick agreed to allow them to keep $300 plus the $195 set up fee for services already performed but sort redress for the remaining sum of previously paid based on contract sceptism.

Now despite numerous phone calls and communication attempts between Strategic Marketing Sydney and Nick Ray including 9 phone calls from Nick in one day they always claim to be in meetings so it is a more the apparent Strategic Marketing Sydney are running what appears to be a telemarketing scam not a genuine telemarketing business.

After speaking with Nick Ray and reviewing all communications it would appear that is only avenue is to seek out a refund via the courts. Nick has learned a valuable lesson when dealing with these so called reputable businesses and that is if you don’t have it in writing you have to fight harder for justice.

Much like the previous post, I've used the team at Strategic Telemarketing Aust for 1 project for my business which specialises in high access cleaning/maintenance and roof top protection/faller arrest systems and products.

My first experience of outsourcing over here however used a company in the UK a number of years ago and have to say the experience was much the same. If anything I was more happy with the service over here as I knew exactly what to expect from it. Probably my own naivity but when I first used outsourcing my expectations were too high and I went in expecting signed deals to be coming through, what they did actually do was send me through fully qualified warm leads that I later converted myself.

STA delivered on everything I asked of them and as I have no other company to compare them to can't say they are the best in Australia, but I had no complaints and the service and results were on par with my experience from the UK who were a lot higher in price and meant to be the market leaders over there.

I have been using Strategic Telemarketing Aust for two projects, a security company project and a software distribution project. Based upon my expectations and what was provided by Strategic Telemarking, I shall continue to be very happy to use their services.

I just dont quite understand how anyone can "practically stole" anything. It was either stolen or not. I suspect someone tipped you this type of service and because it did not turn your business into a gold mine you simply wanted your money back.

Having used Strategic Telemarking and being happy to continue using their sevices I am not safisifed the above comment is justified particularly as it is absent of any specific information other than the "practically stole" bit.
