Squire & Company PC review: Sales tax filing

I am writing to file a formal complaint against a licensed accountant currently operating in the State of Utah. I am a business owner and have retained Squire & Company PC with offices in Orem and Salt Lake City, to handle my tax filings, including my state sales tax obligations from June of 2019 - April 2025

Squire terminated our contract then refused despite multiple requests, has refused to provide me with my tax date and access to my 40 + State Tax Commission portals which are in the name of my company and my FEIN. This compnay data is needed to:
• View and confirm state sales tax filings
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance
• Maintain full control and oversight of my business’s tax matters

This withholding of access has placed my business at potential risk for late filings and penalties. I have made good-faith efforts to resolve this matter directly with the accountant, but my requests have been repeatedly ignored or declined.

I believe this conduct may violate professional standards of transparency, fiduciary duty, or client rights as established by the Utah Board of Accountancy.
