I bought a kitten from Cindy Pipping in March of 2008. I had the kitten shipped to me, across the country. Ive never bought a kitten from a breeder out of state before, so between the shipping and the freezing weather, it was stressful. I had had problems getting Cindy to repond to emails in a reasonable amount of time, but each time she apologized and had some excuse. So the 3.5 mth old kitten arrived, covered and saturated in diarhhea. The kitten had been spayed just before shipping. The kitten arrived to me on a Sunday. I phoned Cindy as soon as I recvd the kitten, because I was not sure if bathing her was ok after surgery...Cindy never answered the phone. I had no choice but to bath her and hope shed be ok. She was. Cindy didnt respond for days. Obviously, she didnt care if the kitten arrived at all, much less if she was ok. This has been ongoing. The kitten, after a month, developed sneezing and pink-eye, Cindy took days to respond, then had no idea what to tell me to do. She took another week to ask a vets advice...(the pink eye came from her cattery)...by then, I had already gone to a vet.
After a year, the kitten is now a young adult. She does not have a full fluffy coat that most ragdolls have, which was the main quality I specified when buying her. I wanted a Ragdoll with a full coat.
At a year, her coat is short and sleek, more like a siamese than a ragdoll...So I wrote to Cindy, sent her a photo, and asked her if she had other photos of my kitens siblings, or more photos of her parents, or just any info on as to why my cat has such short hair at this stage.
I have not heard back from Cindy Pipping. Her mentor, friend, and cat supplier, is Sue Villaroyal, who, Ive written to as well, several times over the years, and have never once gotten a response.
I have been forced to call random breeders, Mikyttens, LionsRoyale, rags2riches, soulmate, all who are very communicative, helpful, and supportive...I would recommend buying a kitten from any of them..
I would NEVER EVER recommend buying a kitten from Springvale Dolls. Cindy Pipping has been totally unavailable to me, since I bought her kitten. The few sentences shes responded over the year, were both inexperienced answers and it took her weeks to respond, making her, essentially useless.
There is no excuse for her to call herself a breeder, and conduct her business by ignoring emails and not returning phone calls. EVER.
I have not read or seen anyone else who has bought from her, so I have learned a valuable lesson
I hope my young ragdoll turns out to look like a ragdoll in time, she was a very cute kitten, but right now at a year, she doesnt look like a $1000 ragdoll, which is what I paid. I love her, but, the principle is, I have questions about my $1000 lifetime investment that came from Cindy Pipping.
Please, do NOT BUY A KITTEN FROM HER, unless you are ok with paying $1000 being totally on your own, and NEVER having any contact with your breeder again...

I am the writer of the original posting...complaining that Cindy Pipping, does not answer her phone or return calls or emails, and that is undeniable in my case. My kitten turned out to be beautiful and healthy and loveable, I will give her that credit. Several people have written in her defense, I do not know what their relationship is with her (friends), or if they are local to her and that has an affect on how she treats her customers. I will stand by the fact, that she did not offer me any support, on the day my kitten shipped, weeks had passed before she responded to my calls and emails...by that time, the questions and problems I had, were already dealt with...I have never had a breeder act this way towards me, and ironically, she is the first and only breeder Ive ever bought a kitten from. I picked Springvale, because she had a kitten available that had the look and coloring I was looking for, I knew nothing of her, since she is across the country from me. To this day, I do not feel I can contact her...thats how stand offish she was towards me. Its a shame, because she does have beautiful cats, as you can see by my now, 2.5 year old female.

Im only 10 so this may sound very strange, some words may be spelt incorrectly. we were going to get a kitten from cindy on april 18th 2021. we were excited for this of course. when she sent us a picture of a different cat, as you can assume me and my family were confused. we tried to reach her and see why she sent us the picture but she never responded. after about a day we learned that my mom is not patient and we learned that cindy does not respond quick. (its been a week and still no response) it just sucks because now my mother wont let use get the cat. I have been wanting a cat for so long so it really is sad. i'm sorry for everyone who had to deal with problems from cindy of other cat breeders.

All of you who are listening to this girl going absolutely Ape on here about Springvale Dolls and Cindy need to consider...Maybe she's not being 100% truthful. I don't know her but I have a mind of my own and just because someone goes on a rant, doesn't make it true. I called Cindy about getting a kitten for my daughter for Christmas over 2 years ago... She was Amazing. She let me come meet the kittens and spend time with them and then held her for me until Christmas... She feeds her cats a phenomenal diet, she's extremely educated in her breed, and after I took the kitty home I called her a million times to make sure I was doing everything to keep my kitty healthy... She called me back everytime! Even when she got sick because of a rescue kitten that I brought in, she called me back everytime. In fact I just called her the other day with a Food question and she called back within an hour... And Guess What... The girl ranting on here GOT HER MONEY BACK! So please don't let one person deter you from visiting her home... My rag doll is seriously more like a dog... She's amazing and I would go back to Cindy at Springvale ANYTIME.

We purchased a 9 mo cat from Cindy in may of 2012 she was a wonderful living kitty until jan 2013 when she became seriously ill. She ended up having an infected bile duct also found out she had an enlarged heart. Got better from that and in April she become ill again. Rushes her to the specialist found enlarged heart and swollen lymph nodes, 5 days later we had to put her down her entire lymp system was swollen. We are still waiting for the results from the necropsy. But it is pretty sad that we lost her after having her less than a year. Cindy has yet to return my calls or emails because the vet is requiring me to tell her

UPDATE the breeder from springvale DID contact me and made restitution. she reimbursed me for what i paid for zsa zsa. i cant ask for anything more, she did the honorable thing, and honestly, not many breeders would have. i have tried to remove the negative comments, but, complaint board will not...they keep saying they arent associated with themselves. all i can do is let everyone know that springvale DID contact me and refunded me my purchase price. of course, the money cant bring her back to me...but it was a kind gesture. i had spent a fortune on her care over her life. cindy pipping was always aloof with me and was not there for me when zsa zsa became ill at a young age of 2.5 ...she passed away in a little over a year after. in the end, cindy reimbursed me. thats all i can say about the situation. it was very heartbreaking and sad.

i'm glad she did the right thing and took care of her client. i completely understand your loss and how you felt with Zsa Zsa. I lost a kitten from FIP; the breeder Diane Varni has an FIP problem and the kitten only lived 2 months with us. It was truly heartbreaking knowing there was no cure and nothing that could be done. It was heartbreaking and my heart goes out to you.

I would just like to clear up all the posts and comments ive made over the last years regarding my cat zsa zsa and dealing with cindy pipping at springvale ragdolls.
I will say that Cindy did finally respond, now that zsa zsa passed away.
She was kind and wrote to me that she felt very badly about my loss and had she known zsa zsa was sick would not have sold her. In all fairness, there is no way a breeder can know which kitten may inherit a terrible disease that shows up in a year or two. To Cindys credit, she did right by me and refunded me the money. Technically, she did not have to, as the health warranty had passed. BUT, zsa zsa was still a young cat (only 4yrs old) when she passed, and had been sick for almost 2yrs up until she passed. I spent so much money caring for her and trying to save her...but more than that, was the heartache I suffered...and more than that, it breaks my heart everyday to remember how she suffered. A very sad situation all around, nobodys fault. But I believe a breeder should understand that even beyond their year health guarantee, there are circumstances, like mine, where exceptions should be made, ethically...to go thru such emotional trauma and ups and downs caring for a chronically ill young animal that dies prematurely ...is NOT what you anticipate when you buy a purebred cat or dog. In my case, Cindy in the end, turns out to be an ethical person. And for that, she deserves this public acknowlegement and apology from me.

TO-DO LIST FOR THOSE HURT IN CONSEQUENCE OF A BREEDER AND THEIR BREEDING ETHICS (advice from an attorney)

PART I: WHAT DOCUMENTS IT HELPS TO HAVE (even if you don't have any, it is ok, proceed to part II & file complaints, read about subpoenas & how they uncover truth on breeder's part)
PART II: WHAT TO DO/WHERE TO FILE ORDERS (follow all steps; I ordered in ORDER you should FOLLOW).

----------
PART I:

- Best to have documentation/evidence. Best to check if you still have...
A) VET DIAGNOSES/EXPERT TESTIMONY (just contact the vet who diagnosed pet/put it down, they will gladly generate them)
B) VET BILLS/RECEIPTS (if not, just call vet clinic, they will regenerate them & the file)
C) if you do not immediately have A or B, search for the EMAIL CHAIN between breeder & you. Attach it & note the email provider (for subpoenas linking IP address to said breeder; also, email providers keep original databases of emails, so neither party can alter emails to their benefit).
D) if you do not have A, B, C, or D & have interacted with breeder via phone, just know you have phone logs permanently kept with cell phone companies, so don't lose hope.
E) the check/money order/etc METHOD OF PAYMENT DOCUMENTED
F) even photos of deceased pet when it was ill/put down helps to prove said pet did exist, etc. if you have papers, this can help prove as well.

^BASICALLY, it's better to have some sort of credibility/verification that you did own/purchase some sort of pet, which if you did, is extremely easy to conjure.

* BUT, even if you don't, you can STILL submit complaints to all the places below, and they can investigate it. A subpoena on anything (bills, bank accounts, email accounts, etc) will show the truth in all matters.
ENOUGH DOCUMENTED COMPLAINTS have to come in, however, to help move this process along at certain places (not at the BBB, Sheriff's Department, or PETA, however-- they investigate EVERY INDIVIDUAL CLAIM).

----------
PART II: WHAT TO DO/WHERE TO FILE (critical instructions)

1. FILE A COMPLAINT with the BBB. must know breeder zipcode (97435) (best shot at getting money back & very important for affecting BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU standing. businesses with too negative of standings may be shutdown)

http://www.bbb.org/

* extremely important so the business is not in 100% standing with the BBB. if you do NOT file a complaint, it IS in 100% standing with the BBB. if wronged, it is important NOT to keep quiet about these things.

* The more that report their experiences/true instances, the better for building a case leading to inspection.

2. Contact the Drain, Oregon Sheriff's Department. They will transfer you to the Animal Control Unit. (disclose cat's cause of death, offer evidence/expert testimony from vets that put cat down/examined cat during its living duration, explain if disease arises from bad breeding/genetics and/or unsanitary conditions).

Phone Number: [protected]
Email: cityofdrain@centurytel.net
http://www.drainoregon.org/draincity.htm

* The more that report their experiences/true instances, the better for building a case leading to inspection.

3. Contact PETA & explain the problem(s), problems/breeding conditions for pets with health problems, often fatal.

NEGLECT AND NEGLIGENCE IS ALSO QUALIFIED/CLASSIFIED AS ANIMAL ABUSE IN THE STATE OF OREGON.

Phone Number: [protected], option 2
Email Forum: http://www.peta.org/about/contact-peta/email-form.aspx

* PETA does rapidly respond and contact you back. The more that report their experiences/true instances, the better for building a case leading to inspection.

4. Contact the Attorney General where the cat breeder lives, file a CONSUMER COMPLAINT (Drain, Oregon). (disclose amount owed & what happened).

Attorney General's website: www.doj.state.or.us

* The more that report their experiences/true instances, the better for building a case leading to inspection.

5. File a CFA PROTEST (free & very important)
http://ca-catbreeders.info/cfaprotest.html

6. To report SCAM/FRAUD: http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/reporting.php

here is my beautiful cat zsa zsa at 2years old, perfectly healthy and fat...then after 1 year, she is thin, gaunt and looks ill...she had many bouts of chronic hepatobiliary disease, until she succumbed to it at 4yrs old. cindy pipping never cared, never responded, never answeredher phone and still has nothing to say to me. not even Im sorry. and youd think that we had exchanged words...but we hadnt, she just refused to have anything to do with me from the minute i paid her...and it didnt change when zsa zsa developed this disease. you decide what kind of breeder abandons you, and doesnt even respond when they hear one of their cats is dying.

again...where is cindy pipping answering me? i dont know who you are, but your cat is still young. liver disease wont show until she is at least 3yrs. i was happy too, and my cat was gorgeous up until the last 6 days of her short life when she turned yellow and emaciated due to vomiting. ANY reputable breeder would not only have supported me, but would have felt HORRIBLE that both the cat she bred and me, her caretaker have suffered physically, emotionally and financially ...then lost the battle. ANY other breeder would have offered a new kitten if I wanted and been bending over backwards to console...where is CINDY ? maybe she is more cunning than to treat people who live in her town bad...but i live states away, and cant do much. I will never let up though...she has been a disgusting human being to me...and could care less about the suffering me and one of her bred cats endured...or that its life was lost at only 4 yrs old...or that i am out $10, 000...again, could care less who anonymously posts how friendly she is...dont believe it. believe when you see her, CINDY PIPPING herself...write a sincere apology and act like a decent human being...until you see that, do not buy her cats
...here is my beautiful cat zsa zsa that died over thanksgiving or recurrent biliary disease, this pic was taken 2 weeks prior

About 8 months ago, I purchased a new ragdoll kitten from Springvale. I am a completely unbiased source as I did not know the owner or any frineds or frankly anyone else who had been clients prior to. I am relieved to not have seen this post & commontary beforehand becasue it would probably have detered me from selecting Springvale. I have owned cats (mostly siamese until discovering the fascinating ragdoll breed) all my life so personality, liveliness, and health were very important characteristics for me. 1) my initial contact with Cindy for inquiring on a new kitten was absolutely handled in an acceptible time frame. In fact, they delayed heading to a wedding so that I could drive in to meet the kittys in the only timeframe I had available 2) Her home/ catery is meticulously maintained. There was even enclosed play castles that ran outside on the porch to help give the cats opportunity to be in their natural environment 3) her car and love for all of them was so evident, you could see her eyes and heart glow as she quickly pointed out characteristics that had already developed in each of the kittens! 4) She was not pushy to pick one right away but to take our time, she genuenly encouraged play and cuddle time

Since taking our kitten home, here have been my observances. Kitten is completely healthy and was at a good weight, size etc... Several vets that I consulted with did feel she was spayed too young... but I guess there's quite the controversy out there on when the optimal time is. I'm not a vet. It seems like it took a good 6 months for her personality to truely start shining but WOW! can I say 'character" now. She is truly show quality - her poise, crossed paws, loves to follow commands at a snap of a finger, very vocal to let you know she's there and wants attention but not overly annoying by any means. Her coat is commented by EVERYBODY as being the softest they've even felt and I conquer... I feel like she's an angora bunny, plush and silky smooth.

All I"m saying is that, I can first hand attest that I'm a very happy customer. I was very picky about what kind and color etc.. that I was looking for and got exactly that. Thank you Springvale - she is the love of our lives. And PS to whomever wrote about their husbands wanting a 3rd... LOL! I can say the exact same thing with mine. He is allergic to cats in fact (but not our hypo ragdolls) and literally went to hating cats to playing with our two babies more than I do! He laughs to the point of tears while she literally makes the bed with us, dive bombing under the sheets and jumping from one side of the bed to the other to catch pillows. My hubby is convinced she is a dog and is now begging me to get the 3rd. AWESOME!

Here is a picture to hopefully help those looking for a certain "physique" - I couldn't be happier

I am the originial poster, launching a complaint against cindy pipping of springvale ragdolls. well here is the outcome of my purchase. my beloved ragdoll, zsa zsa, had to be euthanized on the operating room table yesterday. she was going ot be 5yrs old in january. she had battled for 2 years w chronic hepatico-biliary disease, that would remiss for months, then flare...within days she would stop uncontrollabble vomiting, turn yellow, run a high waxing waning fever and be in the ICU at emergency animal care or her vet. I would nurse her back to health around the clock for months...until it happened again. This was our lives. Initially it was thought she had FIP. I wrote to Cindy when it all began two years ago. She responded her symptoms dont sound like FIP and she would check with HER vet. THat was the extent of her response. I never heard from her again. I wrote her and wrote her and told her how distressed i was, the woman never wrote back and refused to answer her phone. Finally, I wrote and told her what i thought of her, and it wasnt nice. Now i am grief stricken as is my whole family. All of the 'anonymous' people who have come to this womans behalf on here, you should be ashamed. As for Cindy Pipping, she will be aware of this as I am making it public. You the public decide if she is a person to buy a kitten from. You WATCH and see if she responds on here to me. If she is sorry. If she offers anything. She wont. She had no interest in her kitten or its health from the day I bought it, and as it turns, it had a chronic, ultimately fatal disease that took her life at only 4 yrs old. My bills to care for her over the year have surpassed $10, 000. Does Cindy Pipping care? Well, lets see what she has to say...I assure you, it will be nothing. If anyone needs to contact me, you can do so at jeeplover65@hotmail.com.

re: Dr. J's ragdolls. We have just received photos of Sir Barnaby who we will be picking up in 3 weeks. It has been two years since we brought Sir Tristan home and he has been a delight. Big, beautiful and healthy. And two years before that we brought Sir Simon in to our lives. Our vet tells us he has never seen such good looking Ragdoll cats. Three will be the charm and complete our wonderful family.
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. J's ragdolls. P.S. Her whole cattery was spotless.

I have purchased 2 kittens from Dr. J, one is 4 years now so we recently decided to add another addition to the family. The cats are healthy and happy, and I have never had any problems from Dr.J, she has always been helpfull in any questions that I have had regarding the care of my precious babies. I do not comprehend how anyone can say she does not love her cats or that she is a bad bredder, I will continue to use her as my ragdoll breeder and have also referred a few happy friends.

I am buying my first ragdoll kitten from Dr J now I am really feeling stupid, I thought I had done my homework on ragdoll breeders. I do not have alot of money to waste as I am newly divorced and starting out on my own. Please someone tell me this is just one incident and she is a responsable breeder. I have young children involved that do not need to be heartbroken with a ill kitten.

Sorry to say I did not have a good experience with Dr. J. I did visit her location, and although it seemed clean, I now believe that room was just for show, and that she had one or more with more kittens. The room I was in had at least 13 kittens in it, and when I asked if there were any others with different colors, she would leave the room and come back with more kittens - several times. In the end, there were LOTS of kittens. Obviously, there were more kittens hidden away than those in the kitten room. I did purchased a neutered kitty (and paid extra for the neutering that Dr. J claims to have done herself), only to find out 4 days after bringing him home that he had a massive urinary tract infection and that he was never actually neutered. When Dr. J was contacted by our vet and me, she asked us to never contact her again. She appears to be knowledgeable and helpful at first, but when faced with a situation, rather than try and resolve it, she avoids you. Find a reputable breeder and don't let her claim as a vet fool you. She's clearly not in it to better the breed or because she loves cats. I'd also recommend checking with your state to get a list of licensed breeders - after my bad experience, I found out Dr. J was NOT licensed in Illinois - where she has her "catery".

Hello Kittyluver,
You asked about Dr. J's ragdolls- I bought a breeder kitten from Dr. J's and she is healthy and beautiful! I would say she (Dr. J's) is a Very Honest breeder -also she has a very clean Cattery! Also if you have any questions of concerns if you email her she will get right back to you! She is a Vet and loves her cats! This is the first time I have been on here- and I can not believe what these other breeders are doing to families and these kittens. Very sad! So I with that being said, I do trust Dr. J's Ragdolls! I will be buying for her again soon. ~Brandi from Virginia

I wanted to add a few more things. One, I've always wanted a Ragdoll. Being single and supporting myself Cindy has allowed me to make payments and post date checks in order to make this dream come true! Two, just so you know my cats did not get pink eye or sick in any way from me visiting or bringing the cloth home. I chose her because she is 20 miles from my home. It has been my experience whether it is a dog, cat, horse, etc. breeder - buy local or close to you if you can. A breeder is a breeder. It's hard to be thorough when talking to a breeder (to remember every question). Some tell the truth, some lie to get what they want. Third, Giovanni wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but he is exactly what I need. Fourth, visit the facility you are buying the pet from. Ask yourself is it clean? how does the animal appear? Do you feel comfortable buying from this person? Are shots up to date? What is their contract? Do they even have a health contract? What health testing has the breeder done? If need be go look at the critter, go home and think about it. If you like and are satisified with the information presented go back. Ask for references! Get at least 5. I bought a puppy a long time ago from another state. The breeder had lied and I had a lot of issues and went through a lot of money trying to return the dog so I understand completely how you feel. Laslty, research what you are buying. A Ragdoll will not have a full coat or reach maturity until it's 3 years of age so as a young adult it's not going to have a full coat especially if it's a intact cat. In Cindy's agreement it states the kitten will be spayed/neutered before leaving her place. It is okay as the buyer to ask the seller to wait a week after the spay/neuter before bringing home. If the seller says no, then look elsewhere or take a chance. The poor kitten probably had a bad flight, it was her first time flying which can't be practiced, and she just left everyone she knew. It's hard for those little babies, yet some do it with the greatest of ease. I hope all of this information helps the next person looking for a Ragdoll. Again, I am sorry for your experience. I've been in your shoes. And again, I am very happy it turned out and you got the kitty you were looking for.

I am just purchasing a kitten from Cindy. I am not her friend, I live close and chose her because her place is very neat and clean. She is also very nice and informative. The cats and kittens are well cared for, brushed, look healthy and beautiful, love people, and are raised in her house. I will admit at times she is a bit slow on responding on her emails and sometimes not at all, however, I will say she has allowed me to come every weekend to visit my kitten for an hour. WHAT breeder does that?!?!?!? She has answered all of my questions, returned my phone calls and helped me with kitty box issues with my two existing cats. She even stopped over to my house to evaluate my cats in order to help me to get the right kitten. WHAT breeder does that? She is not pushy trying to sell you a kitten. I actually looked at two and we both felts they were not the right ones. I am looking for a kitten to take to nursing homes and to the library as a therapy kitten. I do believe we have found the right kitten for me and my current animal family. Giovanni did have pink eye as a baby. At that time she was taking a cloth and rubbing it on him so I could take home to my animals to smell and get used to. She told me it was live virus, to lay the cloth in the sun let it air out then it would be okay to bring in. Lastly, she did take him for a car ride and settled right down. She was supposed to take him for more, but her husband just had surgery so I can't expect everything. I can say she did he admit he wold be big and that he would have a shorter coat which I would prefer and right now he seems to be growing a thicker coat. Not sure what that is all about and hopefully that is just temporary. As of right now though, she has held my hand every step of the way. I will picking up Mr. G on Friday. BTW I am only looking for pet quality. I am very sorry for your bad experience. I am glad it turned out for you though.

I would like to clarify that as one of those who wrote on her behalf that I am not a local nor a friend. As matter of fact, we had a 3 hour ride to pick up Foo Foo. I am simply a cat lover. I'm glad your kitten has turned into the beautiful cat you were hoping for. Me? My husband, who started out not liking cats at all, just asked me if I'd like a THIRD ragdoll. My first stop on the internet? Springvale...to see what she had available!

Does anyone have any information on Dr. J's Ragdoll breeder? Where seriously considering purchasing from them, but I read the comment above about one dying of HCM and can't believe it!

She assures me they are all tested, etc. Anyone have any dealings with them that they can share...

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My husband and I just got an adult cat from Cindy and I cannot say enough good things about her. She responded both to my emails and phone calls without hesitation and was fantastic when we picked up our cat, taking the time to answer all of our questions as well as providing us with more information than I would have ever thought to ask her. FooFoo is a retired female that Cindy used for breeding and not only is definitely true to the ragdoll personality but she is GORGEOUS! The bluest eyes and the fullest, fluffiest coat I have ever seen. She takes such care and has such pride in her cats I won't hesitate to contact her when we're ready for another kitten.

We have had great success with Cindy and her kittens, they are a joy. She does genetic testing and guarantees her sales.

I do not know this Springvale Doll Cattery, but I do know all the other Ragdoll breeders mentioned. Yes they are all reputable! I am a ragdoll breeder myself and commutation is the key when dealing with people and their pets. Plus a good health Guarantee. I cannot believe a kitten was shipped so soon after spaying, poor baby. That is a crime. How is the kitten looking now? If you doubt the lineage, ask for a DNA test. There is a lab in Texas that does it. If you want the dot com let me know. Magicalragdolls@aol.com

I bought a kitten from Cindy Pipping 2-1/2 years ago. Prior to that, I purchased 2 kittens from Dr. J in the Chicago area. Many breeders told me not to get a kitten from her, but I did anyways. Well, one of my kittens (8 months old) died of HCM. I was so distraut. My daughter actually found Cindy Pipping and I contacted her about buying one of her kittens. She was most helpful and sympathetic. She was always quick to respond to all my emails. I contacted other breeders in the Milwaukee area and they hadn't heard of her, but she was so kind I thought I couldn't go wrong. I bought the most beautiful seal-mitted male for $1000. For me, he was worth every penny. I did have one request, and that was I didn't want him neutered. She was very hesitant, but did it anyways because she knew how upset I was about my other kitten dying. She asked me why and I told her I believed males developed their characteristics when they got older and I thought by neutering him, it would slow the process. She agreed and I had to show proof that I neutered him before she sent me his paperwork. My cat, Murphy, has so much hair I can't sometimes find his eyes. I have seen her catery and all her cats have a full coat of long hair and were exceptionally friendly. I did, however, come across someone who was interested in a Ragdoll last year and I referred her to Cindy. She contacted me shortly after that and indicated to me that Cindy was very difficult to get in touch with. She wasn't calliing her back and thought that maybe she wasn't breeding Ragdolls anymore. I told her that maybe Cindy was on vacation because I didn't have that problem. I haven't heard from this lady since, so I'm not sure if she ever purchased a kitten from her or not. I frequently visit Cindy's website to see her new kittens, which is how I found your complaint. I'm sorry you had this problem and I do feel strongly that your kitten should have a full mane of hair, which is part of the Ragdoll characteristic. From what I undestand, $1000 buys you a show quality cat. I would be unhappy too. I'd love to hear from you.
