Place two orders 10 days ago. Called the store wondering if they got my orders and talked to an associate. She told me that that are a small company and that their products are handmade and to be patient. It's true that they don't respond to emails and I'm confused as to why because I've sent them 2 emails and never got a response. For a few days after placing my orders I noticed the money had not come off my card until after I sent my first email. I'm really confused about all of this but remain hopeful.

LuckyMojo and readersandrootworkers aka Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers are the biggest scams online.

They defamed real psychics like Emily Halifax. The CEO of LuckyMojo should be arrested and sentenced to life in prison. Karma's a B and its coming for you!

Haha! Emily is at it again! "Halifax" or "Westbrook" or whatever company or name you're going by these days.

More help:

6) MISSING CANDLE REPORTS: See under MISSING PRODUCTS. We send dozens of emails daily. We sometimes make mistakes -- and some customers supply an email address that is incorrect or for which a spam filter catches our email and holds it in a "junk mail" folder. CALL THE CHURCH at [protected]. We are open 7 days a week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We will go through a test email message and make sure you are receiving out emails poperly. When everything is working right, we will send you duplicate copies of all of the emails you did not receive. We are happy to do so, and we go the extra mile to make sure that we are in good email communication with our candle clients, many of whom have been with us for more than a decade.

7) MESHA LAWSON'S COMPLAINT: Mesha's credit card declined for what the authorization company called "DEC U Addr Info Unavailable." In other words, her shipping address was unavailable and did not match the billing address on her card. This happens often -- perhaps three times a day for us. The reasons usually are

* The person moved, but their credit card billing address remains at their old location.
* The person is using a gift card and has failed to register an address with the issuing card company.
* The card was stolen.

The code "DEC U Addr Info Unavailable." that comes back from the card authorizing guarantor is the same for ALL THREE of these errors. Because a mis-matched address can be a sign of a stolen card., we stop the transaction and we both EMAIL and TELEPHONE the customer.

Our database notes on Mesha Lawson are as follows:

Problem Type: DEC U Addr Info Unavailable

6/3/18- D1 PH attpt, EM- NW
(Phone attempted and did not work for one reason or another, so we emailed; followed by the initials of the office staff.
6/6/18- D2 in corsp- NW
(In correspondence (via email) with the card holder; followed by the initials of the office staff.
6/7/18 - D3 - Cancelled order -NC
(No resolution 4 days after attempted purchase, cancelled the order; followed by the initials of the office staff.)

Problem Status: Cust. Cancelled - 0% (Customer did not continue the transaction; 0% means we never charged the card and therefore no refund was necessary.)

So Mesha Lawson is free to order again at any time and as far as we are concerned, remains a customer in good standing with us.

I wanted to take the time to explain this because many people who order from us are unfamiliar with the back-end workings of a shopping cart system. At the back end, there is always a PERSON (in this case two -- NW and NC) and one of the best ways to reach that person is to TELEPHONE THE SHOP. The number is [protected] and we are open 7 days a week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please call, and let us see if we can work out any problems. For instance, if the card doesn't run, we can total your order, add the shipping charge and let you know how much to send us by Money Order. We will receive Money Orders same as cash and write your order up immediately.

We are here to serve our customers, and we hope to be able to solve any problems that arise.

Hello, I wandered across this site again, and i would like to respond to a few comments above:

1. BROKEN PRODUCTS: We have a clear policy on breakages, which has been in place and accessible on our web site for about 25 years now: If an item is received broken, you have a choice: we will REPLACE it or you can ask for a REFUND. Your choice. We do require a photo of the broken item (it is easy to take one with your phone and email it to us). We are trusting, but we have suffered plenty of ripoffs, and a photo settles the question.

2) MISSING OR WRONG PRODUCTS: Mistakes do happen, and we are here to make them good. If your order is MISSING a product or if we accidentally swapped in a WRONG product, PLEASE TELEPHONE US at [protected] right away. We are open 7 days a week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Depending on what went wrong, our fixes may include sending a call-tag (at our expense) to pick up the item and have it shipped back, letting you keep an inexpensive item (for which replacement shipping would cost more than the item), sending you the missing or correct item at once, or offering you a refund. We have successfully resolved hundreds of such mistakes in our 25 years in the business. Do not suffer in silence or post a complaint -- just call us and we will make it right.

3) We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. This is an American right. Y'all know it. People may think that we are obligated to take their orders, no matter how verbally abusive they are on the phone or on the internet, or if they claim broken or missing items with every order, or if they shoplift from our store, or if they cause other forms of social trouble. But we are not obligated to do so. They may attempt to place an order via our online shopping cart, but we will not debit their credit cards, and if they order via Paypal, we will promptly refund their money and cancel their orders. If they come to the shop, we will ask them to leave. Sometimes we have had to threaten to call 911 to get potentially violent people to leave. Such is the way of life of a merchant. Like i said, y'all know how it works. The screams and rants of those to whom we have refused service are heard loud and clear, but for our own peace of mind, we rarely reverse a decision to refuse to serve a verbally abusive person.

4) I do not answer email from unknown people because i do not receive it -- and have not since around 2009. I am available to be friended on Facebook, up to the allowable limit of 5, 000 friends, and if you are my friend there, you may message me. I am also available to connect with folks via the Lucky Mojo Forum, where i check in almost daily. Every member of the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers and every member of Hoodoo Psychics has a testimonials thread at the Forum, by the way, although there is no guarantee that they will check in and read their threads or respond. You will have to register to post at the Forum, but it is free. We do not allow abusive language, personal attacks, or negative characterizations about any culture, gender, or religion at the Forum, so please come with good manners.

5) Please post about ConjureMan Ali in a thread devoted to him. This thread is about "luckymojo.com" -- it says so in the header. Ali has never been an employee or owner of our company, nor has he ever written any of our web pages, nor made any spiritual supplies that we sell. There are no direct links to his site from our shop web catalogue. The fact that some people here cannot distinguish him from us is a marker of their ignorance or ill-will. If they are ignorant, let them be educated. If they are ill-willed, let them be revealed as abusing this site for the purpose of personal vendetta, and let readers judge their veracity accordingly.

I wish you all the best.

Over a year ago I ordered two services for candles to be lit and a report on the outcome back to me when the ritual was done. After my money went through to them via PayPal. I never heard from them again. Never received a report or anything regarding my service. I feel scammed of my money and it really makes me not trust this website. Especially their candle services.

Lucky Mojo did get my order wrong and resent it wrong again, I currently have an order with an associate of theirs and am not pleased with the quality of service thus far. If you need a majority of the herbs they sell check out natural grocers, they sell big bags for half of the price Lucky Mojo basically sells samplers.

After reading all these comments I am a little concerned. I came here because my antennas went up just a tiny bit. I ordered something earlier and I did receive a confirmation email but I haven't received a response to an email I sent right after that. Yet, the money was taken out. Just as a regular online shopper, I know that receiving an email in a few hours is usually standard. I'm keeping my thoughts positive and hoping I do receive my products and soon. The website seemed very thorough so overall I do have a positive vibe.

A lot of people on here are correct! Lucky Mojo is a scam company and they are very rude and unprofessional and should be reported. Like what someone on here said about the reviews/testimonials on their websites about being all positive is very suspicious and then it makes you think did they type up those reviews themselves to convince you that they are not a scam. And I tried making an order once through Lucky Mojo and this girl named "Nikki" who is very rude cancelled my order telling me that they will not be accepting my orders ever again, Which was uncalled for! Like I said these are some very rude and nasty people and I saw on their site that they called other people's spiritual work and supplies phony like theirs is the best which I have ordered and tried and seen no results! And when being on their forum be careful on what you say to them when they come at you with a rude sounding reply and there is one lady by the name "Miss Aida" who is very rude and will reply with rude comments and then if you reply back with a reply getting back at her you will then be banned from their forum PERMANENTLY. And when sending emails to ConjureMan Ali he always ignores them which is rude and I bought it to his attention and he lashed out at me in the email saying that what I said what nothing but lies. It's funny how people will get all bent out of shape when they hear the truth about their rude actions. I don't care who disagrees with my complaint because that doesn't matter to me. I'm posting this because I don't want anyone to get scammed by these EVIL people!

Conjureman ali did work for me, never got back to me about the results, was supposedly "out of town" when he was supposed to recieve some personal concerns from me to do the work, and communicated later on that he wasn't the one performing the work, but that one of his assistants was. Not what I was paying $500 for! Later found out from a local shop that he is a complete fraud and if I can stop at least one person from using this person's services, then it is totally worth it. Lucky mojos products are nice but I can make or buy the items I need locally and also don't feel right about supporting a company who employs and promotes the services of charlatans.

In my experience, they are extremely knowledgable, are excellent with communication, and have legit, authentic items. Never a whisper of a problem in all the years that I've visited their website, or with any orders from several years ago. You really don't need to go anywhere else for this type of education and products.

Wow, I'm sure glad I came across this site when I did! I was just about to order a ton of products from luckymojo.com in a day or two.I'm really thankful to all you guys for the heads-up and being so specific with your experiences with luckymojo.com.I can't afford to just hand my money over to people without knowing, 1.if the product is authentic, and if it is, 2.will I receive the products I order.I've read too many complaints on here and I will not risk my hard-earned money on a website that is this questionable.I could understand if there we're a handful of complaints. That would be expected. But just about every comment here is a complaint and not just here but also on other websites.I always do my research when dealing with online companies and the first thing I came across when I googled luckymojo.com was a scam reporting site. That led me here and to other places on the net where I read many other complaints. Now, I'm not saying luckymojo.com is a scam because I have never dealt with them to know that.I'm just saying it seems they do more damage control and explaining what happened and why than they do business, and I just can't deal with a company that seems like it would be more trouble than their worth. What is so wrong with:hey, I have a product, you need the product, I buy the product and I get the product? This is really not that hard! And, I really appreciate everyone posting about their experiences with these companies. It really helps everyone else out.

I just put in two orders with the Lucky Mojo Co. I'll admit that I was very excited and for a company to be in business for 15 years, I would expect for a faster delivery. When I placed my orders, I checked the box for regular delivery. It did not say anything about having to wait 3 to 4 or even 4 to 8 weeks. I would not have placed an order with this company knowing that the items I ordered would take that long to deliver. My order hasn't been processed, they haven't sent anything to me and yet, I'm being charged a 15% restocking fee? Every store has their ups and downs. Every customer isn't always satisfied but to receive nothing at all and still be charged... I just think that's wrong. I order a lot of my items on line. I found another store in California and talked on the phone with someone. She was more than happy to take my order and it will arrive within the next week which gives me enough time to prepare for a court hearing.

Candelo Kimbisa is a very scrupulous and unethical person. I had hired him to do some spell work for protection/justice because a vicious group of people had stolen my identity, harassed and attacked my family and I for a decade due to racism. I later find out Candelo Kimbisa was now working for these people and when I asked him why he would, all I get was mockery in return. If I knew back then what he was capable of doing for monetary gain, I would have never given him my personal information or hired him for any work. Just be careful with who you trust.

Just an update/clarification. An issue has been resolved with 1 reader at AIRR. Overall, my issue is with AIRR, NOT Lucky Mojo. I have received great service and product from Lucky Mojo. My issue is paying readers at AIRR for service and them not providing those readings. To date, 2 readers at AIRR were paid and did not provide a reading.

Jul 27, 2015 7:46 pm EDT

I've been scammed by Lucky Mojo AIRR readers not once, not twice, but 5 times...and it's my fault. The first time, I paid $45 to Conjure Man Ali for a reading. I sent two emails for a follow up and never heard back. So, he kept my money. Then, I sent $10 to another reader there for a quick yes/no question and sent another 3 emails asking for my status, and there was no answer. Desperate, I called the Hoodoo Psychic line (yes, I'm dumb) and I spoke to one reader who told me to send her $15 to continue our reading via email, not the call since it was expensive. Still, that reader never got back to me. Another reader basically told me they would not work on my issue and said my issue was a non issue and that I just needed to work on my own relaxation techniques. Another reader I reached out to was terribly rude and told me to ignore my issue and move on with life. So, the advice I did get was ultimately non-advise. Their message board is great and I have had some success with their products and their radio show does give great root worker tips, but their AIRR readers are not good. I think after all of this mayhem I will abandon using them. I've probably spent a few thousand on them, and they've been nothing but rude and ignored me. I have been a folk practitioner for some time. It's a cultural belief. Much of the work I have undertaken with and without their products has worked, but ultimately I need to break away from using them for ethical reasons. I'm hurt, and offended. I've worked with great root workers in my home town who give consultations and advice for free or perform services for $10, but these AIRR folks are just outrageous.

I finally just got a refund from an order I placed over 2 months ago.. It was my first order with them and I had never dealt with them before so I didn't have a bias against them... However, after this; they must be scamming people.. I actually did leave a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office in CA. It maybe why I got my refund back and NO explanation.. I called yesterday and they said that my order was still stuck in shipping.. This is after 2 months.. then today; no explanation a refund from them to my card. I did see a call come through but no message left. After reading some of the issues and problems people have had with the owners and staff of the shop.. I am glad I put in a complaint with the Attorney Generals office. I encourage all of you to do the same.. they will have NO choice but to look into the company if they have enough complaints from people and customers about lack of service or products or even scamming people out of their money.. Also, if the women who owns the place tries to threaten me or curse me; I will be contacting an attorney for threatening me and defamation of character.. Magic only goes so far; sometimes getting the law involved is the only way to truly shut down businesses and people who are harming others through scams, threats and just poor business practices regardless of the owners mental illness.. sounds like she does not understand how to run a business...

I have placed orders with this company in the past. The website is fickle in that it works on some browsers and not on others. BUT that does not mean they offer bad service. Slow service, yes. To the gentleman who said anyone claiming to be psychic was mentally ill...well how in the world did you end up in this discussion? What services did you buy that made you unhappy? Or were you just trolling the internet looking for places to complain? All the fairy tales are true dummy (to one extent or the other).

I have not seen legitimate complaints. "She was mean to me" and "my bottle was broken but I didn't bother with the return policy" are not legitimate complaints. Just whining babies.

Terrible customer service, takes too long to get online orders. I asked them for a refund today and I got a confirmation email from them acknowledging this. So lets see how long it takes to get my money back. I will update you all on that. If they decide not to refund my hard earned precious money, then so be it. and if any employee of this establishment should read this just know that what goes around comes around, what you reap you shall sow. When you mistreat people, steal their money; the same thing will happen to you but worse. All I asked for was professionalism, understanding, and my order in a timely manner, isn't that what any consumer who is spending their money should expect ? Now, I've wasted valuable time waiting on an order that I could have gone else where to get. It's not even about the money really, it's about my time you wasted. Can you all (mojo curio staff) magically make the time you wasted of mine appear again ? SMDH, unprofessional, you lost what would have been a loyal, patient, customer all because of your lack of customer service, and management skills. I wish you all the best. I will never shop there again. But I do want my money back.

Lucky Mojo products are excellent and packaged beautifully, made with love and care and Miss Cat knows what she is talking about. Also, they are priced reasonably! Unlike most other places for similar types of things which charge exorbitant fees. In addition, they have a real physical location and answer their phone. I disagree with this person. I can't speak to the readings as I have never had one. However, I have wasted a lot of money at other websites and received crap but have no qualms ordering from them.

I stumbled onto this page, and, since it appears timely, wanted to tell Liz to check the Lucky Mojo damages policy here:
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatreturns.html#damages
Damages are a very different policy than "I decided I don't want it."
I've been dressing candles for over a decade and always use glitter in addition to herbs and oils. That's how the first dressed candles I got thirty years ago were done, so it's good enough for me!

Well it seems that what they shipped me isn't returnable since they didn't send me the complete product (therefore I can't return the complete product) and it's not in resalable condition because the candle glass is smashed. Anyway, it's not worth the effort, to pack it up and ship it only to be charged 15% for the privilege of being ripped off by this company. And really, sparkles? Dollar store sparkles are part of traditional root work? I find that very hard to believe, but that's what my candles are "dressed" with.

I have ordered from Lucky Mojo, hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of times and they have always been good to me. Katrina has been WONDERFUL, even being flexible to help me achieve my goals. I have never worked with ConjureMan Ali, but I LOVE Miss Bri. She hits it on the money. I have asked LM to light candles on my behalf on topics and GOT the results. IF I've bought lavender or something with lavender oil, it smells like LAVENDER. Any bottles with herbs has the herbs VISIBLE in the bottle. There are LOT of con artists in the metaphysical world, but Lucky Mojo is NOT one of them.
