Sparkletts Water / DS Waters / Primo Water review: Tainted water, horrible customer service, incorrect billing

In September 2021 I opened a new 5 gallon bottle and placed it in the bottom load cooler. Upon drinking some water it tasted like gasoline or kerosene. Smelling the bottle had the same oil-chemical smell. This happened on a Friday. Customer service said someone would be out the following week on a Tuesday. no one came. I called on Thursday and customer service said it would be at least another week. I then told them to cancel the account and get everything out of the office. It took them three more weeks to come and get the cooler and bad water and unopened bottles.

They then proceeded to charge me again for the cooler rental and did not properly credit my account for the bottles returned.

It took me 3 months to finally make time to review all the bills and call DS Waters. Their response, it's been more than 60 days since the account was closed so we can't help you.

In the 20 years as a customer they would raise my prices annually, requiring me to call in and negotiate for lower pricing. They have continued to charge a $8.95 delivery fee even though there were over a dozen accounts in this single story office building that the driver would service without moving his truck.

Summary - Primo Water / DS Waters / Sparklett's are not interested in happy customers. They are only interested in profit. I give them a "D" grade due to the high cost of a very simple product and very low customer service objectives.

Desired outcome: Credit for the overcharged cooler and improper refund on returned bottles.
