My public storage unit was broken into and valuable possessions were taken. The wall from the next door unit was cut and my items were removed. I have completed a police report, photos of damage, have received the original police report that I obtained and paid for, have filled out all the paperwork and sent in with certified usps mailing to a po box in kentucky. I have not heard a word and no phone calls have been returned. I have been paying insurance since 2012. The public storage unit is located on del amo and anza st in torrance ca. Is this a scam?
My storage unti was burgarlized with 4 other in the state, I paid my insurance ontime and they got over 1,00 0 from me insurance. I filed a claims for over 7 items stolen. They just got back to with a estimate of 120.00.
This is suhc a joke and a terrible business. I would never recommend Public Storage to anyone,
The heartache of someone taking your stuff then getting insulted with this amount cause you cant replace it
Orange door is horrific , customer service is terrible. A Burris and crew. They can keep there measily money , I am so done with this place. They are a scam !

My unit had been broken into, police report filed and provided necessary paper work but claim was still denied. After months of no contact with myself to provide any information received letter with claim denied. Very disturbing that you work hard for what you have and these people could give a rats [censored]!
Mine was broken into by employee,orange door it's been over 2 years and nothing,they finally denied me all together,I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy,$5000 worth of insurance which only covered 1 of my husbands welding machines,how do you show receipts for family airlooms,deceased mom's wedding rings ,pictures,you let me know that and we will all be rich,so we go to talk to employee to get proof of storage being broken into and kiosk don't work,so my husband goes thru the office onto property and was threatened with violence by "security guy" that lives in his vehicle and his mom that lives in her unit,they are the worst and this whole ordeal has really messed with our livelihood and we have now almost faced losing our home,we never actually gotten married because wedding rings dress,and all his tools were stolen,can't afford to even get married by justice of the peace
